El Burrito Loco — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I started coming here three years ago for the giant burrito after a long day of roofing in Rockford. It's easily a meal and a half, packed full of meat. My kids love the tacos and the service is incredible. I'm writing this review because two days ago I ordered a meal and could not pay, my card was declined and I asked the lady to cancel the twelve dollar order (I splurged on the steak fajitas and a large Horchata) and let me call my wife to see if she could bring me some money. She couldn't, and I went back, embarrassed to the lady and explained that I was unable to pay. She told me that the cook had already started the order and not to worry about it, to come back and pay when I could. On the west side of Rockford, you just don't do this. I got my order, Horchata and all, had a fantastic meal, and left. I went back this morning and got breakfast for me and my little girl and payed my debt. This lady was not there so I'm writing this review to show my appreciation to a wonderful lady, who trusted a stranger. You don't see people like this anymore especially in a city like Rockford. I saw a review stating they got food poisoning from here, I live out of town but iv been here enough times with good experiences to trust the food and have never had an issue...

One of my favorite places for chimichangas. This place is the second Mexican restaurant to Ruin Mexican food for me because I’ll always be comparing it to Burrito Loco . And for you wondering what’s the other place Casa Sanchez in Fairplay Colorado.

There churros will always be the snack that will make me break my diets so freaking delicious tho they do need a dipping sauce but that is a non issue. Sides like rice and beans are really tasty. And beware they asked if I wanted extra cheese. I’m like sure thinking they would probably skimp on it like most places do.

I was humbled and overwhelmed by the amount of cheese that probably was half the weight of the chimichanga so ask for it in the side if you get extra cheese. Sauces are also really good and they don’t skimp on them in my experience if you ask for more . And you’ll need more because they do be bringing the meat and topping when you order unlike most places. Like seriously they must have a grandma back there that likes to spoil the customers as if they were her...

Entered got angry real quick as a man was in hardship(poor aka no money) was within restaurant asked to use bathroom. Older guy behind counter yeld at him infrint if customers to get out for customers only. A customer said he is a customer as I am going to buy him to tacos, just let him use the bathroom please. Employees looked very angry and said nothing. That customer gave the man two tacos and the poor man sat down to eat and the other customer that bought the food left. The older employer with no hair told the poor man to get out. I then said hey was bought food and its paid for why cant he stay. Employee said I dobt care get out, this is not a bum house, get out. Very angry me and my family left aling with a couple other customers.

I have looked through a few reviews and it appears select employees of this location has attitude problems and I cannot be apart of actions like this. My family will not be subjected to disrespect to any person,...
