FIESTA TEQUILA BAR AND GRILL — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I'm pretty sure this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant.

After initially being seated it took ten or more minutes for our server (who didn't ever tell us her name) to ask if we would like something to drink. I ordered our appetizer at the same time since we had plenty of time to choose one. It took several more minutes to receive the drinks and guacamole that we ordered. My drink was already half melted by the time I got it. We had already finished our appetizer and drinks by the time the server came back to ask what we wanted for our main dishes.

We ordered two simple dishes without any modifications... It took them an hour to bring out our order of two steak tacos and an enchilada plate with rice. We had empty glasses and didn't see our server for the entire time. We almost left...

Right as we were getting up to leave our cold dried out tacos arrived. And my cold enchilada plate arrived. We were not given any utensils to eat with or napkins. And were not asked/offered another drink and the server walked away before we could request either.

While the food looked good it was disappointing from being cold and the enchiladas were bland. It was dry chicken smothered in boring ranchero sauce.

The server was absent, the food was awful and we spent nearly 3 hours trying to be patient and wait for them to fix things and improve service.

The weren't very busy so there's no reason our food should have arrived so late and cold.

Next time I'll skip the inconvenience and make it myself or go to one of the Mexico restaurants in the area that are actually amazing and care to keep people coming back.

While this review was long and everywhere. I didn't include any of the unnecessary details of rude...

It's Cinco De Mayo. We got seated quickly, got our first drinks and put in our order. Been a half hour and haven't seen our waitress except to take an order for a table near us waiting 20 minutes to order. She then walked past us without checking on us. Drinks are empty, realized one glass is badly cracked, chips and salsa been gone a while....people walking out. Did they not expect to be busy on one of the most busiest American-Mexican holidays? Terrible service...bad preparation. Too bad, seems like it could have been a successful place. Another 15 minutes have passed since writing this..still no waitress. About 20 minutes later, here comes a Manager with our food. After a brief complaint he says he is short on staff and can get us a couple beers, but not another mixed drink because it ll take to long. As he walks away, we touch our food, its all ice cold. Nope, not gonna get us sick. We got up as he walked towards us carrying the beer, I explained we were leaving. Won't return. PS, still never saw our waitress, guessing she was cooking too.

Went down the street, got served...

I usually dont leave reviews, but this was probably the worst service I have ever gotten at a restaurant. The food itself was not terrible though. Ive been a waitress for 4 years so I understand that sometimes customers can be difficult. My mother in law had ordered shrimp cocktail from here and forgot to ask for it without the oysters/clams (I am unsure of what exactly was in it) and when our waitress brought her food my mother in law apologized and asked for her to remake it. Our waitress then argued with my mother in law that she would still be charged for the mistake order and the remake and basically told us we were s* out of luck since she didnt order it correctly. The waitress offered to have the manager come over, but the manager never showed up. My mother in law ended up not eating her food and we paid our tab and left. Not to mention we never got checked on once during our meal except for when we asked for the tab. 0/10 would never come...
