Half Baked Bar — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Hopefully this review is taken as constructive criticism..

The establishment had an event for Father’s Day on Sunday 12-5pm. They had an advertisement for booth reservations so me and My husband paid for a reservation for our group. Upon arrival at 12:30 the place was just getting setup, which is okay since our party hadn’t arrived yet. When entering the bar you can see that they are 420 friendly. They sell flower, vapes, gummies and pre-rolls. After a few mins our booth was located and Our server I can’t remember the lady’s name but she was great. We ordered our drinks and food. The music was vibing it was R&B themed. The drinks was flowing once our party arrived we got 2 mimosa towers def 10/10. This where things started to get sketchy. People started to walk in with children, like babies in a stroller kids under 3 dancing on the dance floor. Ppl holding kids while drinking, ppl passing kids around to hold so they can drink. I think it was a graduation even being held. The place was starting to feel like a family reunion it was giving private event. We started to feel uncomfortable. At one point we was told we could smoke inside and some ppl did spark up and then told no not until the kids leave. By 4:30 we decided to leave, we just couldn’t get with the family friendly vibe during a day party on FATHER’S DAY. Some of yall women wouldn’t even pull this on Mother’s Day. Dads couldn’t even relax and have fun. Even though some of the ppl didn’t care they def was showing they ass and private literally smh. As a mother we gotta do better no reason to be having kids in a loud ass bar where everyone is getting drunk and high. Half baked bar please stop letting children in during your events when liquor is your number one seller. Anything could of happened and them kids could of gotten hurt or ingested...

This place is straight up trash. So first off let me say you get a racist vibe when you come in but hey I tried to shake it off. It was my first time coming and I was there for my best friends birthday. The alcohol selection is very limited but ok that could be worked around. The bartenders were not that friendly as if they barely wanted to speak or ask if you wanted something. The food was nasty and not seasoned. The minute we started ordering food they told us they were closing the kitchen at 8:30…. How and yall don’t close until midnight? Then when they brought us the food they came back over to us and took a hot wing appetizer away saying they gave us one too many which they didn’t so we said well just leave it and add it to the check but they insisted on taking it and giving it to where it needed to go instead of making the people a fresh appetizer…. Cross contamination but whatever. We’re still trying to enjoy the night and we asked them if they could turn the music up because it was so so low and at this point we’re the only ones in there and they didn’t. Once we started packing up they turned up the music loud. I told my friends it was just too many of us color folk in there so the point was for them to make us feel unwelcome and not service us properly so that we would rush and leave. Trust and believe I’m never coming back. The bathrooms nasty and the stalls don’t lock, rolls of tissue sitting on the floor and I’m like hell no I will go across the way and use it at McDonald’s because these bathrooms need some real cleaning and care to it. Trash trash trash trash trash……and never...

Was excited about the location of this establishment and couldn’t wait to experience it, but upon going I was highly disappointed. The staffs energy was off and felt like we were a bother to them. The selection of alcohol was very limited as well. Me and my friends arrived about 7:30 and we ordered food, it was only about 12 of us and by 8:40 the server comes to tell us that they didn’t have much ore food to serve and had to close the kitchen. We were the only ones in there so I didn’t understood that at all. The birthday girl requested a song and one of the servers played it but the volume was so low we couldn’t even hear the song. The cook comes from back saying something under his breath and had a really bad attitude! I will not shy coming back and will not spend another dime in this place. Bad...
