Placed an order for pickup this evening at 8pm.. Lasagna, med cheese pizza and breaded mushrooms. The dinner comes with a "side salad". Was told it would be ready at 830 which it was at 835. Got home (we live less than a mile from the restaurant) got the table ready and sat down to eat at about 845pm and see that we received a small cup of sliced mushrooms like you would put on a pizza (not breaded mushrooms) and the salad consisted of all lettuce with a 1/4 inch wedge of a tomato and nothing else in it. (So a bowl of lettuce in my opinion is not a salad)
At 850pm I Called and kindly spoke with them. I expressed my concerns and also that I chose to give them "one more try" as the last time there were errors with the order also.
She explained that the salad is just what we received and offered to quickly deliver the mushrooms. I said it wasn't necessary as we already started eating and we would be finishing. She insisted to make it right, so I gave the address. She said that we were so close that she would even drive them over if no drivers are available.
By 910 we were done eating.. by 930 it's time for bed but still no delivery person. (We get up at 5am).
By 945, almost a full hour after the call, the delivery driver came.
The mushrooms were soggy like they had been inside the container for a while and the condensation got to them. Plus the taste was like old grease that needed to be changed.
I called back because I wanted them to know exactly where they need improvement and why I will never use them again or recommend them.
I was told that " you have to understand we are short staffed. And I made them right away, and there was a driver here when we spoke, but then they had 2 deliveries on State Street and another location " She was very dismissive and even stated "well, I didn't charge you for them" in reference that I shouldn't be disappointed then.
I am a fare and honest person. I believe in communication and being honest.
I do not in any fashion recommend this business.
There are so many other establishments who will value your business.
Please consider this honest review when deciding where to spend your hard earned money.
Photo attached is what we received..does not show the soggy...
Read moreThe last time I went there about a month ago, I ordered a spaghetti dinner which was about $11 on the menu and I figured that after tax it would be about $12 dollars and some change. But, the young cashier rang up $13.50! I asked her why and she said because I used my debit card I was being charged a fee. Mind you, there were no signs stating that I would be charged a fee and when I questioned that, she struggled her shoulders and said well we do charge a fee if you use a credit card. I asked to speak to a manager and she ignored me and walked away. There was another female person working behind the counter and I told her that I wanted to speak to a manager and she asked me why with an attitude. I told her what happened and she said oh well we do charge a fee for using credit cards and I apologize for my coworker not letting you know this because we are supposed to. I still asked to speak to a manager and she said ok. Then walked away, but never came back. The first girl came back with my food and smiled at me as if nothing ever happened. I just left. I got home and when I looked at my dinner, there was barely any sauce on the spaghetti. My salad was all Iceberg lettuce and about 1/3 of a corner of a tomato. I call the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager and the female who answered asked me why and who I was. I told my first name a said I am unhappy customer. She put me on hold and another female answered and said hello. I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes. I asked her what her name was and she told me that she didn't want to tell me that! She sounded just like the female person that I talked to behind the counter! I told her that the spaghetti barely had any sauce on it and the salad was all lettuce. I also told her about the experience with the debit card fee and she told me that I could come back and they would give me a cup of sauce, but that was all she could do. She also said that they do charge a credit card fee. The call ended after I told her that I was not happy with my whole experience there and will never eat there or order food...
Read moreI've ordered from this place for well over 10 years and had to stop ordering from here because their pizza cheese is just way too greasy and the prices are way too high. They charge a $1 tax just to use debit card (which I'm pretty sure is literally illegal), then they charge over $5 for delivery.
By the time you factor in a tip, taxes, and delivery charges, you've already paid just as much for those as you will for the pizza itself. You end up basically paying $20 for a $9 pizza!
Due to all the oil in the cheese, the pizza is practically inedible for leftovers eaten the next day. It just turns into this hard gelatinous block of thick overly greasy cheese once it cools. It's like they mix 50/50 cheese and oil. It's just disgusting.
I came to eat-in one day to have a burger and the place was empty, and I had to wait nearly a half hour to get my order taken, even though they were well aware that I was in the restaurant.
I've had soo many various problems with this place, too many to count. Once I ordered some food for dinner, and it was late and turns out they didn't even put my order in, so here I am waiting for an hour for food, only to find out they never even prepared it and lost the order, and they were about to close so I couldn't get my order...but later I find out they still charged my card for the order! WTF?!
I just can't give this place my business anymore. Their food has gone downhill. Please don't give this place your business. They've gotten greedy and sloppy and need to go out of business. They do a disservice to the community.
Ignore all the highly rated positive reviews, they're either paid reviews or they're employee's or family of the owners/employee's. No one actually leaves this place feeling happy about their purchase, whether it's down to bad service, bad food, or...
