Sam's Pizza — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I couldn't believe the type of service me and my friend experienced! We ordered 25 minutes before we got there for dine in, when we got there the door was locked and it was raining. Then we called and asked why is the door locked and we were instructed to come around to carry out, when we got to carry out we walked up to the counter and asked the lady for our order she stated our waitress have left an dine-in close at 9 p.m. so my friend asked her why didn't she tell us that over the phone she said she didn't take the call as if it wasn't her fault who took our order over the phone with no apology, so we said okay can we just pick up our order then she stated that she don't even have a ticket for our order which means they never put our order in. Next she went to the manager or owner ( they are probably related) and told him those people put in a order and there's no ticket for it, (NOTE WE ARE BLACK) he then came to us and asked what would we like to order? I then explained to him after getting his position that I did not appreciate her considering us as those people and he stated he get the concept (IN OTHER WORDS I KNOW SHE'S LIKE THAT AND I CAN'T CHANGE IT OR I'M THE SAME WAY, I FELT LIKE HE FEELS AS THOUGH HE CAN'T MAKE ANY CHANGES TO IMPROVE THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS) and as a result we will never ever ever ever ever shop there again I used to order over the phone for delivery but I would have never ever ever ever placed an order with them had I knew that-that type of energy was making my food! We have ordered from Sams in the past quite a bit and had very few problems until about 6 months ago. The first problem was when they charged someone else's order to my credit card and it took them a week to sort it out. The next problem was when we ordered and they sent the wrong food which took an hour to receive . When over an hour later they brought the correct food it was cold and all you could taste was old grease! We stupidly ordered again today. We ordered the pick any 3 appetizers ( as we had done in the past with no problems!! ) We get the food and it is all in one container! There were 3 chicken strips, 4 cheese sticks ( which were fried so hard that all the cheese was outside the stick ) and 6 fried mushrooms. When I called to say something about the situation the lady on the phone gave me MAJOR attitude. We called her out on her attitude and hung up only to call a few minutes later call the manager who proceeded to talk over me and condescend me. He accused me of lying and became very angry when I told him the portions he sent were not what they had sent in the past. He says he cooked it himself and was I calling HIM a liar! When I confronted him with all the past issues including the new one he told me he didn't have time to argue with me over petty stuff and to call a different restaurant from now on. Whoever worked tonight answering phones. (Male & September 15th around 10-11pm ) is incredibly rude. We called and ordered but they never asked for a number. We realized and decided to call back and add the number so they could call and we could guide them to my house because the layout of my house is weird. He answered with an attitude saying he wasn't taking no order if we wasn't 100% sure on the address and phone number( not listening at all because we weren't placing a order just adding a number to an existing order ) he then exclaimed how he doesn't have the time to play on the phone and etc ( we were just trying to add a number idk what he was talking about ) he finally asked for the number and address and we gave it to him then he proceeded to ask what we wanted to place and when I told him for the 20th time we were just adding a number to an existing order he said " See No " and rudely hung up. Then wouldn't answer any of the calls ( at this point we were just trying to cancel the existing order in a quick manner before the delivery driver left after he hung up ) about the 6th call he answered and we tried canceling but the order was already on the way.
