Arena's Pizza — Restaurant in Rockford

I placed my order for a 12” pizza and a small salad at 4:50pm and was told that it would deliver in 45-60 minutes. At 90 minutes I called to see where my order was and I was told by the guy (unfortunately I did not get his name) that I placed my order with that it just walked out the door and would be delivered in about 7 or 8 minutes. After 30 minutes I called again and spoke with Jacob and was told that the order had just left and again it would be there in about 10 minutes. At the 20 minute mark I was just getting ready to go to Arena’s Pizza in person so I could get a credit receipt for the meal I had paid for and was going to go get dinner somewhere else when the doorbell rang. A very nice young man apologized and said he was not aware that my order had been placed 2-1/2 hours ago and told me if the pizza was cold to call in and they would make another one and get it to me right away. I felt bad for him as he said he just started working there 2 weeks ago. Integrity is important in business and this company has none. Be truthful and admit a mistake. The pizza was cold and I am not interested in calling them again. I will never order from this pizza place again and if you are smart you won’t either. There are plenty of pizza restaurants...

I called to order a pizza and have to say it was one of the worse experiences I’ve had trying to order food. The gentleman that answered the phone was the terrible and is the reason I will never order from here again. He told me it would be over an hour for delivery and I said that was fine. He pause and acted like he didn’t even want me to order and was very upset I still wanted to order after he told me it would be over an hour for delivery. I asked him if they had any specials and he told me of a special that came with a large pie with three toppings, order of bread sticks, and a two liter. I asked if they had any “just pizza specials” he said no. Then I asked him the size of their large pizza. He snaps back and asks me if I’m going to order. I told him I would like to but I’m trying to find out how big there large pizza is. He snapped back and again asked if I was going to order. After that I hung up. The phone call took under two minutes so don’t know what the attitude and disrespect was all about when I’m just asking about specials and the size of their large pizza. I have NEVER had a bad item from this menu! It's my go to place to get pizza. I've tried a lot of different places, hubby says I should be a food critic because I am that picky about my food. The only thing bad about this place is they aren't open early enough! I've talked with the owner and he's thought about opening for lunch maybe if we all send him a message he will open for us! I don't know about you but I still crave pizza at 11 am! My favorite items from the menu are the Grand Rapids Steak: Slice ribeye, cheese, green peppers, onions, mushrooms. And the Chips & Cheese Deluxe: Tortilla chips, taco meat, cheddar cheese, onion, black olive, jalapanos, tomatoes. (although I always delete the olive and jalapanos cuz well YUCK) We also like the wagon wheel Fridays you get a 24" pizza with 2 toppings for $20.00 what a freaking deal! Feeds 3 teenagers, 2 adults and 2 kids with extra for snacks...
