McDonald's — Restaurant in Rockford

When you get a little bit older in age are you asked questions is this place safe for seniors citizens, is this place safe for young kids, does this place a healthy environment, (no)........ What kind of place is it it should be a restaurant does a lot cleaner and what it is the restaurant smell like piss the workers have a funny look to themselves the food comes from the back you cannot visualize your food you cannot see your food your drinks are up in the front..what the what... There have been some said there would have been a something said then what are y'all doing back there why is it taking so long what kind of people are you off what are you doing here are you coming to work come to social ( put a button out front.... So someone pressed that button. Someone should come in and provide help either understanding an understanding and understanding why is I'm so confused trying to figure something out, I know what I want. But I can't get no response from nobody... Thanks but no thanks never again and I will tell everybody.... That I know your money's no good inside...

Absolutely zero regard for allergy requests. Countless times we have ordered saying “no sausage” or “no bacon”. The screen is correct, we repeat it and the order taker is irritated at our persistence. Yet every single time we order breakfast or lunch with allergy requests for no XYZ, there is always that item included, even though the screen and special order ticket attached to the item says not to. We have talked to the store, we have contacted Grubhub (which it has happened so frequently at this location GH will no longer honor refunds due to the frequency of the Rockford McDonald’s causing allergic reactions), the last time we tried to calmly address concerns at the window, the employee very sternly exclaimed “I don’t know what to tell you, CONTACT YOUR BANK FOR A CHARGEBACK!”. Why does it have to go to that extreme? Simple requests, require simple actions that the Rockford McDonald’s refuses to take. With increasing prices on items made unsafe for consumption by this location, it is a shame that Rockford McDonalds has no concern for...

Sure, it's just McDonald's, but this location is still no gem of the organization. Fries are always sub-par, which is a real downfall for a McD- fries and the proprietary fountain coke setup are a big part of the focus for this chain, to say the least. The fries here are often soggy, limp and cold when served- and you may expect to "enjoy" a diet coke without even requesting such an option. Hash browns range from the also soggy and limp varietal to an over cooked indication that the fryers probably need to be changed at least once a month. :-/

They also make getting an order right seem a feat on par with launching spacecraft. 2 out of 5 can be an expected failure.

Again, it's just a McDonald's franchise, but they really need to step up the game.

A year later...

They cannot get an order right. Seriously, no exaggeration- 75% of the time, my order is wrong. Terrible. This is a common theme in many of the reviewa. It is significant to this particular location- management couldn't...
