China Plaza — Restaurant in Rockland

I went two days ago. We hadn’t been in months so we decided to go cause we missed having what use to be the best Chinese food on the south shore! I was expecting to have a great meal like I use to but sadly I didn’t get that at all. The first thing I noticed was the usual bread and tea was not offered before you ordered your meal. When I asked for the bread it was .50 cents a roll and unfortunately it was stale. If you’re gonna charge for bread at least make sure it’s fresh. The tea was extra now as well. The meal came out and I noticed the portions were significantly smaller than before, yet the prices were more! Why’s that? The food quality was no longer there. Before, you’d get your food nice and hot, everything looked fresh. Now, it was dry and tasted old! What happened to...

The food is very tasty and they're was plenty big portions. So I got to eat some more after a couple of hours. LOL 😂 I had to stop eating Chinese food for a while. I was feeling gross the next day and it wasn't tasty enough to get me to suffer a half day. I'm talking about any Chinese restaurant. Went to a co-workers birthday get together his wife put together as a surprise 😲. I have been eating their take out since, about 6years now. Everyone I have sat at the bar with, waiting for my order. Has always been friendly and usually funny. Good entertainment and a great drink while you wait for ur order. I had to finish the 2nd half of my drink quickly. The food was ready quicker...

I have been going to China Plaza for over 40 years.....I think their food is the best....Its probably true that you get used to a way your chicken fingers and rice are prepared....But i have reletives from Louisiana,Florida,Georgia. That make it a point to hit CP their first night here....My suggestion...China Plaza Sirloin medium rare....worth every penny....If you like spicy try tbe Hunan Spicy Chickin....fingers,strips,teryaki ,rice,spare ribs all done to perfection everytime.....GOOD EFFIN. TIMES....Hope they go back to the old hours some day....you won't be disapointed with the Service or the...
