McDonald's — Restaurant in Rockland

Always the best run McDonald's in the area from bankers hours. But for some reason when the sun goes down, they decide to keep the place open and hire folks with absolutely zero enthusiasm or work ethic. I appreciate the place being open 24/7 that's alot harder than people think but if your going to be open, and showcase new items on your menu even at late night drive through hours, dont tell me you can't make something. Every single time. Only reason i 2 starred this review is because i know steve who works during the day and he's a stud at his job. Every time i come by after 10 iam basically offered a big mac or a quarter pounder. No shakes. No anything that involves an extra step more than what the night the crew feels like doing. Never actually wearing a uniform either, i feel like some kid from rockland place just handed me a burger and said no "hello" just its 4 bucks, and throws me my food and goes back to his conversation. Either open and run the food 24\7 or cut back. And either take a night job and actually put in an effort or quit. Nobody forced this kid in the black hoodie tonight to work. Sick of it. Yall need to try harder for consistency. The company can afford to pay a few hard working folks extra to make sure the store isnt a complete...

Closed when I drove there and it was only 10-10:15 at night...drive thru lights were off and chairs in dining room were up on the tables but the sign that is posted on the doors stated that the dining room was open til 11 and the drive thru open til midnite... wasn't the only one looking to grab a quick bite at this location as I was sitting in the parking lot several cars pulled in and drove all the way around the store only to find out they had closed early for no known reason...when I called owner to inquire about the hours and to why they closed early the night before, I was told that they were indeed open and basically accused me of making a false statement and didn't even try and rectify my issue or try and get me to continue being a loyal customer so if they don't value my patronage then I no longer patronize this location nor any location that bares his name as its owner/operator...so now I no longer have the convenience of staying in my hometown if I am looking for a quick bite to eat and travel 4 towns over just to avoid giving my money to...

New owners I hear, redid drive thru for to lanes, but new one closed from 10pm - 5am and it was only 8:00 pm. Got a strawberry shake with whip cream no cherry cause they were out, disappointing. The Strawberry was also out so the shake was a very light pink shade and tasted like vanilla. When I asked for more strawberry or to fix it cause I'm not a vanilla fan the kid tried then realized the strawberry was out ask the manager girl what to do and she rudely replied strawberry is out then. Usually it's not a bad experience there, but this one was horrible and disappointing 2021 UPDATE 2021 UPDATE 2021 UPDATE Shake machine seems to be always broken. It's the only McDonald's that never has ice cream or shakes. Often at night there card machine seems to break and it's cash only which people don't have often.
