PK Sushi — Restaurant in Rocklin

So based on all these great reviews we tried this place last night 2/15/13. It was busy. but the staff was friendly and we were seated within 5 mins. The food came quick and looked nice, but after the first roll, they all started looking and tasting similar. WAY too much rice!!!! (one of their rules with all you can eat is that you have to eat ALL the rice or you get charged more) So much sauce is dumped on every roll that it looks like a orange nuclear meltdown with slop all over the plate. Not artistic, just sloppy in my opinion. We even tried a hand roll to get away from the sauce, but there was so much rice in it that I could not even find the fish. We also tried some raw tuna on rice and that piece of meat was super thick.... at least 1/4" thick and wasn't the best tuna either. I will not be going back, and I cant believe so many reviews on here were...

Update 9/2/2021: Disappointed. Have been going to PK for as long as we have lived here - great food, great service, and a wonderful experience for the kids. Called in a to go order, but no longer allow any changes for the kids meals... ok. Kids meals used to come with a little lego-type toy and a drink - no longer. Ok. Ordered for my wife and I - total was 30% more than the menu prices online. I'm calling the restaurant, to pick up, not using an online service... call back to check and make sure I didn't miss something, and get told the kids meals now can't be had to go. Meh, never mind. I totally get the pandemic is hurting businesses - I'm here, not ordering through an online service like Chownow or Uber Eats, trying to keep my money going to the business. Oh well.

I am very dossappointed at this place. Ive been coming here since they opened. I ordered today to go the creamy shrimp for $16 like I've done many times before and I always say no spicy sauce but it still comes with their special sauce and torched. I was alredy far when I was able to eat it and I found out they only gave me plain white rice with plain shrimp on top I called to see if they could some how give me a refund because this taste like nothing! and I'm not planning on eating it. The lady was so rude saying that I could go and get the sauce when I told her I was too far to go for it, she just didn't care to give a good customer service or atleast apologize. They are getting very cheap, my daughter doesnt like avocado and she asks if they could replace it wit cucumber and they want to charge for...
