I recently had the pleasure of stopping by The Pastrami Shop in Rocklin, CA, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly owner who made me feel right at home. The service I received was nothing short of outstanding, and I can't wait to share my experience with you.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. I decided to try their turkey sandwich, and boy, was it a fantastic choice! The moment I took my first bite, I could taste the freshness of the bread. It was soft, perfectly toasted, and added an excellent texture to the sandwich. The turkey was incredibly flavorful, tender, and mouthwateringly delicious. I could tell that the ingredients were of the highest quality.
Aside from the amazing food, The Pastrami Shop is located in a great spot with plenty of parking available. It's always a relief to find a place where parking isn't a hassle, and this spot definitely ticks that box.
What impressed me the most was the warm and inviting atmosphere. The owner's friendly demeanor created a welcoming environment, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about his customers. It's refreshing to visit a local small business where you can feel the passion and dedication that goes into every aspect of their operation.
I highly recommend visiting The Pastrami Shop and showing your support for this amazing local gem. The combination of top-notch service, delectable food, and convenient location makes it an absolute must-visit. Whether you're looking for a quick and satisfying lunch or simply craving a mouthwatering sandwich, this place has got you covered.
Overall, my experience at The Pastrami Shop was nothing short of exceptional. I'm already planning my next visit because I can't wait to try more of their mouthwatering offerings. Do yourself a favor and head over to The Pastrami Shop in Rocklin, CA. You won't be...
Read moreI am a Reuben lover. It's more difficult than it should be to find a good Reuben around here. The place smelled "old" and not fresh when I walked in and was kind of dingy but I'm all for a family owned business. I was greeted by a sweet older man and woman. They were super kind, telling me it was the best Reuben ever as I seemed a little unsure but excited to potentially find a hidden gem. Unfortunately, I am not a fan. I feel like someone would only like this if they've never had a "real" Reuben. True Reubens are juicy, fresh, and sooo flavorful with that saltiness and then tangy dripping sauce, melty cheese, and high stacked pastrami on lightly toasted bread. True Reubens are ooey gooey flavorful bliss. Now to the Reuben I received from this place... it was dry, yes stacked pastrami but only making it look like a lot of pastrami due to the extra layer of soggy bread in the middle... like Big Mac style, yuck. Not a lot of cheese and definitely missing that tangy thousand island dressing. It was supposed to be on there, I think I saw it BUT there was barely any. It was so salty and I LOVE salt but that's literally all I could taste was a ton of salt and a lot of bread! Saurkraut was cheap store bought, nothing special. I really wish I could give this place a better review but for a $20 sandwhich after a couple dollar tip this was nowhere worth it. I don't think I'd pay even $10 for a sandwhich like that. Arby's used to have a Reuben (I don't know if they still do) and that was better than this. I can't recommend much of anything when it comes to places around here with a good Reuben but the Beach Hut Reuben is much better than this and worth trying...
Read moreJust under a year ago my boyfriend and I moved to Rocklin from the neighboring town of Loomis. During the moving process we saw Pastrami from the road and vowed to try it asap as we both are lovers of it. It has become an almost weekly tradition for us now to go to Pastrami! For starters they by far have the best Pastrami sandwich for miles around (I will fight you on this đ) the meat is so tender and hardly has any of the stringy fatty chunks that most shops have with theirs. It is always so incredibly juicy, and the Italian loafs are always so soft and pillow like. Secondly not only are their pastrami sandwiches to die for, but the have the best turkey sandwiches (speaking on behalf of the boyfriend). Third their chocolate chip cookies are so addicting. Most important of all the owner Habib is a gem. He is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. He genuinely cares about his customers and how they are. Whenever we go we end up talking the entire time we are there. Asking about how our family, work and lives are in general. It is so refreshing and humbling to see he cares that much about his customers and giving them the best experience possible. Our experience has always been nothing short of amazing there. We will always come back for more. Easily our favorite sandwich...
