Tried Johnny's Pizza recently and was impressed with the quality. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients, which makes a big difference. My only critique is that the dough could use a bit more flavor—maybe just a touch more salt—but that’s something they can easily fine-tune.
It seems like they’re still new, so I encourage folks to be patient. Too many people rush to leave harsh reviews because of wait times, but these guys are clearly still figuring things out and doing their best. The two gentlemen working when I visited were incredibly friendly and came across as genuinely good people. Kind of guys you'd sit down and share a slice with.
They must be fans of the pizza GOAT Dave Portnoy, because the crunch and lack of flop on the slice were solid—definitely a strong showing in that department.
