I’m on my friends account leaving this review because I was so shook by an employee named journeys behavior. I do not want my real name on here.so I tried to place an order at the intercom. They got it wrong, so when we pulled around A young man named Journey was extremely frustrated and rude with me for what reason I don’t know maybe his life just sucks that bad so again, I try to explain to him what I want because I’m one of those annoying people who want extra this, none of this add this I’ll own that 100%. I am also disabled, and it can take me a minute to explain myself. so he gets frustrated and slams the window in my face at the drive-through, so I go inside and asked to speak to a manager well, to my surprise he is the manager. His name is journey and he was very aggressively coming at me. Pacing back-and-forth behind the counter And raising his voice with me ! He would not shut up. I was asking the other employee for Another managers information so I could make a complaint. he kept running his mouth and would not shut up the other girl working with him, kept trying to get him to stop, and he would not ! Now I’m 46 years old I’ve had two knee replacements I have a spinal bifida and it can affect parts of your brain basically causing brain damage, so it takes me a minute, and this Man is treating me like a POS so I Decided to just stay calm and record ! they told me to stop recording, and I told him I had every right to record. He told me he was going to have me banned from Dairy Queen. Even though I hadn’t done anything I didn’t raise my voice ! I didn’t cuss or yell I think he’s just got a lot of growing up to do, I tried to call and make a complaint with a manager or the store owner and the phone number listed is not in service. I have everything on video. And I genuinely feel sorry for anybody in journeys life that has to deal with him. The other employee kept trying to push him into the back to make him go away so she could talk to me as her, and I were talking calmly and civilly, she was giving me the information and he would not go. Finally, she got him to walk away. I felt threatened. I also feel it was because of my disability, and I am definitely filing a complaint with ADA and will pass along my video to them! It’s such a shame because I use this Dairy Queen all the time, and I’ve never been rude to by Any employee there! not once! So whoever owns the Dairy Queen in Rockmart, you should really put young man journey in check before you lose more customers, or get even more complaints, filed with the ADA! Read moreI've been having issues with my local Rockmart DQ. This is the first time I've left a review because I usually don't worry all that much but since this has been an issue for a while I've gotten so tired of it that I'm going to leave one. My favorite item to get is the Mocha Moo-latte. When they are made correctly they are the best tasting item on the menu in my opinion. But I've not had one made right in a very long time. Every single time I order that item when I get to the window and they hand it to me it's white and from that I can tell it wasn't made correctly because there's no chocolate in the shake whatsoever. This happens all of the time, it's very frustrating because I love that item but I never get it made correctly, but I'm not the type to make a big deal out of it and tell them to take it back and remake it. Also today I order that and 2 6 piece chicken strips baskets, I said it loud and clear but when I got to the window they only gave me one, so I had to wait there as they made the chicken strips, one gentleman shook his head as I said, "I ordered 2 of those" I said it loud and clear at the intercom so it's not my fault they didn't get it right. I love this DQ but with these issues it's getting to where I'd rather not go because I expect for something to be done incorrectly. Read moreEveryone was standing around lazily. First they didn't mark the coke from the Dr. Pepper. The dr.pepper tasted like cherry coke, and my daughter's sprite tasted like 80% water. Then we get the sundaes, they looked like they were pre-made and pulled out of a freezer to top with the hot fudge. Then we get out meals if you can call it that. There was barely any fries in the chicken tender box. When I went in to ask if that was the correct amount the guy took my box and said it's the amount that goes in a small container, I will show you. He goes to the back. A girl comes back out with my same box. The guy had just grabbed my fries and put them in a small container for fries. It was not nearly the correct portion but they decided they were right. Needless to say I left with crappy service, crappy food that wasn't even the size of portion my 3 year old nephew could get full on. RUDE! I see why the DQ's are...
