Pizza King — Restaurant in Rockville

We placed our first ever order on Monday January 8th. I called in a carry out order for 2 large thin crust pizzas, one was cheese and sausage and the other was a Deluxe without pepperoni. We took advantage of their ‘$5 off one large carry out pizza Monday’ deal. The pizzas were ready when we pulled up to the pickup window. We paid $41 cash as there is a 4% service charge for credit cards. I was kinda worried when the nice, elderly cashier tilted the pizza boxes to get them through the pickup window. At home, we found the pizzas intact. The deluxe pizza had the sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions all chopped up and evenly spread over the entire pizza. I’ve never had toppings this way but it was very good! The crust was thin and had cornmeal on the bottom. Both pizzas were cooked thoroughly and neither were greasy. I’m from Chicago and am a deep dish pizza guy but this pizza was good. Good job! Ken...

I have traveled across this beautiful country many times over. I have experienced every kind of pizza you could imagine. I also have never felt the need to do a review on a restaurant until now. I ordered a 12” deluxe pizza, the cost was nearly $20.00 even. When receiving the pizza I found it to be a commercially produced pizza crust. Which can be found at your local dollar store. The entire pizza was disgusting and makes every other pizza joint all over the country look like they are all over the top. I have had bad pizzas before but never this bad. If they can prove to me that they can make a better pizza I will then write a new review. I am not afraid of spending money on a good meal. But the two cents this crust was worth, was not worth spending your money on. Signed the first complaint ever. ...

I've had Pizza King 1000 of times and they either go from being really good or not that good at all. Good thing about Pizza King is that not good at all still better than a lot of pizza but this one was on the lower end unfortunately. It wasn't that bad ,don't get me wrong, you'll probably still enjoy the pizza but compared to the good places I been that were franchised by Pizza King this was just not one of the better ones, but you go be the judge yourself, you might like it real well . I might have just been lucky and had a really good one near me...
