Golden Wok — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

I ordered two combination dinners; general Tao Orange Chicken and Beef With Broccoli. Both were to come with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I also ordered House Special chow mein which comes with white rice. When the order arrived and I had tipped the delivery man, signed the receipt, said good-bye and closed the door, I discover the mistakes. They, the people at Golden Wok, decided to give us one SMALL order of beef with broccoli without the fried rice and NO egg roll. They put a small package of white rice in the bag. My husband really likes beef with broccoli so I felt bad for him. When I called to straighten out the mistake the woman was almost yelling at me. She told me I told them what I wanted. I tried to explain I ordered the order on line and she got even more mad. This is a very sad day for us because we REALLY like Chinese food. Super rude! I had a to go order that I had placed and walked in and thought he lady at the counter was talking to me so I just told her that, I had placed a to go order. She immediately shut me down and was like I'm waiting on this guy. She was super rude and her mannerisms were uncalled for. She even gave me a slight eye roll. She treated me like I was trying to break in line and she was trying to discipline me. So I went to explain again that I had thought she was speaking to me and I had already placed my order. She then got abrasive again and was like "I said that I would be with you after his order and held out her hand in an as if, cut me off manner. I then walked out. I called after and explained I did not appreciate her speaking to me that way and was going to give her the opportunity to remedy it only for her to yell and have an attitude further. Super tired of the disrespectful attitudes they show towards certain ethic groups. The food is mediocre at best, service is piss poor, and fortune cookies are consistently stale. I don’t expect most people to agree, as there seems to be a mentality of good enough in this area. That’s not ok. I work hard for my money and when I patronize a business, I expect excellence, every single time. This restaurant falls short.
