Update: I don't know why we keep trying. Raw meatloaf, mac n cheese tastes like cinnamon, chicken has weird flavor, dumplings taste rotten with a little bit of flour. Worst place ever!! They got rid of the best thing they had with the hashbrown tots. Most horrible food!!! I don't know how they get more than a 0 in their reviews. Thanks cracker barrel for wasting my money and not even responding to the post from previous. The one under this one got a response, but it was a good review. You should be blushing from the embarrassment of the poor quality of food that is served here. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT go to Cracker Barrel in Lake City/Rocky Top. The last few times we have TRIED to eat there, they were out of everything we ordered and it was only 600pm. No Chicken n dumplings, no mashed potatoes, no gravy, no dressing, no meatloaf, no ingredients to make the shepherd's pie. Waited over 40 minutes for someone to clean a table when there were only 10 tables with people sitting at them. All the other tables were dirty. No apologies from a manager. Just an explanation that the truck hadn't come, not enough employees scheduled, or they weren't expecting so many people that night (no matter what night it was.) Used to love it and used to eat there often. I don't know what's happened, but it is not worth it now. Update: I don't know why we keep trying. Went there for my birthday dinner. The only reason it even earns the 1 star is due to the distraction that every Cracker Barrel has, the store. My family was seated at the same time as another group. Both of our groups were seated next to each other. One person in my party decided to substitute one of the sides for a salad. We got our drinks in a decent amount of time, but one of the cups was still dirty, as was one of the utensils (they were replaced, but they shouldn't have been dirty when they left the kitchen). While waiting for our food, the group that was sitting next to us (the one that was seated at the same time we were) had received, eaten, and paid their bill. This was all before we even got our biscuits, cornbread, and the salad. It took about 35 minutes for the waitress to come to our table to tell us that our food will be out soon. At this point, most of my group was also waiting on refills for their drinks because we had nothing else to stop our stomachs from devouring itself. Another group gets seated next to ours and the salad finally comes out for my group, the biscuits and cornbread are still MIA. After another 10 minute wait, our food finally arrives with our missing biscuits, but the cornbread remains MIA. After another 5 minutes, we get the cornbread. Eating our meal, the food is cold and they tried to hide it by packing so much black pepper on the food that it gave off a spicy tingle, as if we wouldn't notice the difference between spicy and hot. I would have given this terrible service the benefit of the doubt if the waitress was one of few serving people, but there were more than enough waitresses on staff for this to never have been an issue.

Me and my wife was driving on i-75. I decided that we were going to stop at the cracker barrel. I talk to The Host she said to be about a 20 minute wait but it did not take that long.We were standing there waiting. there were 3 older people had come in while we were waiting. The host called our name we went and sit down. We had sit there for 10 minutes so before our waiter even acknowledge that we were there he had passed our table 4 times during that 10 minutes. He finally took our full order. Then we watched the 3 older people sit down across of us.So we sit there for almost an hour waiting for our food. we had noticed that the three older people had received their food before we did. I flagged our down he come to the table and ask do you need something. yeah are food! He went and got it. he said it just come out. That was a lie it had been seating under the warmers for a long time The food was warm but not hot. We should have talked to the manager but didn't want to make a seen. So I paid for are food and told the cashier about our experience she started to blame it on the Rush but the waiter only had 4 tables as time it went on down to 2 tables before for we got our food! she asked if I wanted to talk to the manager. I said no I will be filing a complaint to corporate. Because that doesn't give us a hot meal and our time back. I would not recommend this cracker barrel to anyone .Very bad service!

If you are Store Owner that replies with the usual BS. I have seen on other post! save it you need a New Manager that can hire better employees. If you can't do that you need to cut your losses...
