My family and I visited on a Friday night. They were not busy. It was just us and two more tables. Our waitress was sweet. My mom ordered a tasting of 4 and I ordered a tasting of three. You pay per tasting. Each one was $3.33. They brought them all out together, forgot one, and there was no way to tell which wine was which. That was disappointing. How could you know which one you liked and didn't? My sons and dad ordered water. You get a bottle of water, not free, and no refills. I thought this was crazy. Why can they not do tap water? We ordered the large charcuterie and two large pizzas. The charcuterie was great! Everyone likes something a little different so I asked if they could do half and half on the pizzas before I ordered. I would have just ordered one cheese and one pepperoni if they couldn't. The waitress stated they could to an extent but couldn't do two totally different pizzas together. I said "great"! I asked if we could get a half cheese, half pepperoni and an omnivore but leave the veggies off half. The first pizza was great but the second one came out all covered in veggies but no meat on half. The lady who brought it out was not our waitress. I just said "this is not what we ordered" and she asked what we ordered and I explained. She just stood there. I explained again and she just stood there. Then a man came over and demanded to know who our waitress was. I told him I didn't want to get anyone in trouble and if it was a big deal, we would eat the pizza. He continued to demand who our waitress was and berate us because "they aren't allowed to do half and half and this is why". He made me uncomfortable and upset. I don't see why they would not be allowed to leave something off half and I even asked if they could before I ordered. It wasn't our fault they left off the wrong thing. We did end up getting a correct pizza but the man continued to glare and we were all of a sudden persona non grata. I had to flag down the only other waitress to get a drink. She went and got the lady who brought out the pizza. We never saw our waitress again after she took our food order. Overall, for 5 people it was almost $200 for pizza, charcuterie, and a little wine. I wouldn't go back but my mom loves it there.

Let me say first, I love wood fired pizza, and I have had some exceptional wood fired pizza in the past. Since we were in town visiting, I came for the pizza. Unfortunately, this is not exceptional wood fired pizza! The night we were there, they only had small pizzas available, since there were three in our party, we ordered three pizzas. Order was placed at the same time, two pepperoni and one margherita. Two pepperoni came out within 10 minutes, the margherita took an additional 20 minutes after the pepperoni. Now a true wood fired pizza takes about 3 minutes to cook, sometimes less. So not sure what the problem was, and the waitress gave no explanation. I can only attest to the pepperoni. Crust was crisp on outside, chewy on inside. Nice char on top. But WAY too much corn meal on the bottom of the crust! Red sauce was bland to no taste. Some seasoning would be a good idea. Cheese was hot and well melted but bland as well. Pepperoni was definitely chain store pepperoni. Overall, ahhh, it was a pizza. Not something I would come back for. Not something I would recommend. Only drinks available were bottled soda or wine. No fountain drinks, no water in a glass, no sweet tea. I guess that’s why it’s called a winery. My two stars is for the pizza and drinks alone. I can’t attest to the wine or other menu items. I wish them luck, but I’m not a wine drinker so won’t be making a special trip to come back.

Hidden gem in Rogersville, AL. Wine - 10/10. Atmosphere - 10/10. Food - 9/10 (only thing missing was a little more cheese on the pizza - but I will take that over greasy anyday!). Service: 20/10. Full review: on our first trip we got a bottle of wine and charcuterie to go. The small charcuterie was more than enough food for two! The charcuterie had the best mix of salty and sweet and the wine was smooth. A perfect combination! Our second time in the restaurant, we split a Margherita pizza and a flight of wine. The wines were all great and the pizza was really good, with the crust that can only be made on a wood fired grill. My favorite wine was the Noethern Lights (I like sweet) and my husband enjoyed Simply Red). The service is what really set this place apart! Super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable team made this a fantastic experience. Thanks, Bloom, for providing a great date night spot! If you live in or are just traveling through Rogersville do yourself a favor and stop by!
