Golden Dairy — Restaurant in Rogersville

Hands down, this place has the best food in town and none of the other close restaurants can compete with their prices. You get more for your money here. They have burgers, fries, chicken tenders, etc. But they also have other items that aren't posted on the outside menu anymore like the open face roast beef sandwich...which is absolutely to die for. They are also famous for their milkshakes - they are so thick you have to let them sit a minute or two before anything will come up the straw. There is a small dining area inside but it closes early. Most people either call their order in or order at the outside window. The only thing to be careful about is the parking. The lot is small and there aren't really any spaces lined out so people just pull in and park as they see fit. If it's busy, it may be a little difficult to find a spot. The price makes the parking issue easy to overlook because the menu items are rather large but the prices aren't. I feed my family of 3 there for almost $20 less than I can at any of the chain...

I would give golden dairy more than 5 stars if it were allowed. They have great food all the time. I wish they could be open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The only thing I would like to see from them is their dining area to reopen and that they would go back to their delicious real onion rings instead of those premade minced ones. But the food is always great. I have loved everything I have ever tried. The hardest part is choosing what to eat. Never change the giant burger it is perfection. I wish I could eat one and still have room to eat dessert. I have to choose a meal or dessert because I am always too full for both. Hot fudge cake is the best. The service is fast. The price is excellent, it's a lot less than eating at fast food...

I just moved here, and have been trying different places around town. This is the worst so far... I was not impressed. After seeing so many stars I was expecting amazing food and got the total opposite. The footlong had no flavor and God only knows what kind of "meat" it was🤮 It came with ketchup and mustard smashed all over it wrapped in paper. The fries weren't any better and the slaw I couldn't tell ya because I threw the whole meal away.
