Mama Shelby's Pizza — Restaurant in Rogersville

I passed by Mama Shelly's Pizza every single day and never noticed it. I was looking for something else which I thought was in the same mall, I saw a large pizza sign. I happen to be a little hungry. I called my wife and asked if she was interested in trying a new pizza place, to us anyways, she agreed. The size of the pizza is immaculate. So what's your spending, makes it worth it. I ordered a large pepperoni for myself which turns into lunch for the next couple days, and I ordered a small for my wife. We both agreed this will be our new pizza joint. I don't think I caught the owner's name but he took my order and was very helpful. He gave me a little backstory on the pizza place itself and his life which I appreciate. It's a stop in grab your pizza and go joint and I believe his daughter has a little candy sale in the front as well. As a new resident of Rogersville, I have to check the local eateries. Tonight was 12 Wings, buffalo (mild). Orderee by phone and Wings were ready as promised. Price was $16 plus tax, so fairly typical for 1w wings. On first impression the wings were well sauced but appeared very small. In spite of the small size, they were very meaty, tender and tasty. The mild buffalo sauce was closer to medium but fine for me. Overall the experience was good. I only used three stars for food as I've not tried their main offering of Pizza but will update my review when I do. I would order the wings again but likely ask for sauce on the side or that they be lightly sauced. While I prefer my wings a bit bigger, the overall experience was good. Try them out!...

What a delight! Extremely hospitable and pleasant staff. Answered our questions over the phone (hours, menu items) and when we arrived even had suggestions on items we might like to try. (Not pushy sales, just kind). One member of our party must eat gluten free and they have two options: GF crust (they will follow celiac cooking procedure if requested) and a cauliflower crust. Chose the GF option for crust and our family member gave it good reviews! The regular crust pizza we had was excellent and the ingredient combo delicious as recommended by staff.
