Los Gallos Taqueria — Restaurant in Rohnert Park

I used DoorDash to place my order and I received notice that my order was ready at 5:50. I was there to pickup my order within 5 minutes. Every other time, I have used the pickup counter. But this time, when I got to the pickup counter, the person working the register rudely scolded me and told me that I had to get in line with the folks who were placing orders. My food sat on the counter for over 15 minutes while I waited in line. I asked if they could please remake my order so we could have fresh food. They said no. So we are having cold fish burritos. I did not see a manager and there was no one to help. To be clear, I am not accustomed to being treated this way but what ever. They have turned away a loyal longtime customer. Good luck to them. We visited as a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday dinner on a Sunday night. The food arrived so quickly that the first people to order received their food just as the last people to order sat down.

There is no table service here but we didn't miss it. We received silverware with our meals and, by the time we finished eating, someone came along to clear some of our dishes.

As a group, we ordered a wide variety of meals. All of them were good. The "regular" enchilada sauce had a mole-like taste to it. The chimichanga was well fried. The quesadillas had a panini-like quality to them.

My family of four. Goes to dinner here nearly once a week. We really love the food. The owner is always there. He's the one with blue eyes. You'll know when you see him. He's quiet but observant.
