Good cookies and ice cream and they also have coffee. This was my 1st time going here, my wife stayed out in the car with our dog. There was a nice atmosphere here but the interactions I had with the 3 employees there did not make me feel very welcomed. They asked every patron if they had been there before and have they seen their menu? Me, I just get a what can I get started for you today? I didn't like they way they ordered me to the table area to wait because my online order was not ready yet, and since it was my 1st time I did not the procedure. It was almost rude how they said it. Then when I did get my order, the lady said here ya go and a split second later as I said "thank you" , I was saying it to her back. She already had turned around and walk away and start talking to another employee. She was like here is your order, now you don't exist anymore attitute. Overall I did not feel very welcomed here. I am sure they knew I never been there before, not sure how many 6'2" guys with dreds come in there. That was very off-putting since my wife and I are locals, and we own a couple of properties in this area. If my wife wants to come back I will wait in the car next time. I went in on 8-29 and got helped by a woman. I didn't get her name but I went in around 3pm and explained to her I have not visited and wanted one of their custom ice cream sandwiches with their homemade cookies. She was very sweet and explained how it works and how they have their recommendations on the wall of great options. So you pick a kind of cookie, ice cream and candy on the sides if you wanted. I don't believe it cost extra to get the one side option on the side. If you wanted more I am not sure of there was an extra charge. I got two different ice cream sandwiches. I picked chocolate chocolate chip cookie with their chocolate peanut butter ice cream and I got it covered in Reese. The other I got was a chocolate chip cookie with mint chocolate chip ice and chocolate chips on the sides. Each cookie was huge and cost $6.95 each. It was a steal if you ask me. The absolute BEST ice cream cookie sandwich EVER!!!! Plus pastries, muffins, breads, cinnamon rolls, scones, espresso and more!! The staff are the nicest people. And, they have the coolest mission statement ever- the ice cream parlor is a front to support and fund the attached teen hang out. They main goal is to provide teens a safe place to play games, hang out, get study help, and feel part of a community. They have a ping pong table, a pool table, and video games. An overall chill adult supervised hang out for junior high aged students.
