McDonald's — Restaurant in Rolla

Won't hire based on discriminatory reasons. I applied here because it was easy and convenient. I, my husband, and my father in law all share the same vehicle. To get back and forth from Steelville to Rolla and back again is a taxing trip and expensive. However, they won't hire me because my husband works here. They say we won't "work hard enough" when I've literally fell and moved trees with this man. Do you realize how much concentration and effort that takes just not to get killed by a falling log? No, because the soft hiring manager here has probably never actually worked a manual labor job. That is discrimination to the letter. "I can't work hard enough in a relationship." That's the same as telling me "I can't work hard enough being disabled." Or "I can't work hard enough because I'm female." While I literally have watched the two teeny boppers in the back do no work at all and the dude pinched the girls tit. Inappropriate workplace behavior and completely unprofessional hiring process. My husband has also been forced to falsify surveys by one of the daylight managers. Do not come here to work if you intend on being treated fairly. I came just to be hired and walked away with the awful knowledge my relationship with my husband is what kept me from a job. To the people complaining because they can't work hard enough or fast enough, this is why. Because they can't hire good, hardworking people without basing that hiring process on their own biases and fallacies. But they sure can hire them teenagers that they know personally that don't do a damn thing behind that counter. Will not be coming back here to eat, simply based...

Ok folks I seemed to have deemed myself the grilled chicken sandwich aficionado of the fast food world.... With no other options last night I stopped for a quick bite. Now I get that McDonalds is known for its overly processed burgers and world famous fries... ok Ikl give them that. I admit i dont eat and havent attempted their burgers in any version offered. Ok .... back to the point of this. My grilled chicken sandwich.... Horrible!!!! The chicken was over cooked and microwaved way too long. I could have mistaken it for jerky. I asked for extra pickles and apparently in Micky D world that means 2 pickle slices... I get it fast food should be fast but come on it should still be eatable and somewhat enjoyable after a long day.

I placed my order. Was waiting for it. There was an adorable baby on the floor. No customers around and the cashier, an older man walked around the corner saying something to the baby. There was an older upper management type sitting there. He rudely says "Are you on the clock?" Then yells at the cashier in front of everyone "Then get back to work!" McDonald's should hire better management. I was close to telling their manager off for being an idiot. If not for the baby I would have said something. But I can tell you this. It will be a long time before I eat at a place...
