Poor. We are new to the area, and it was my birthday, so hubby decided to treat me to crab legs at Red Lobster! We walked in about a half hour before closing . The place was dead. Only two other tables , and they were finishing up. The bartender immediately sat us... And after 15 mins of no one coming to our table , we waved down the only waitress on the floor. She apologized said she wasnt our waitress, but would find ours , who was in the back... Finally, another 10 mins later, ours showed. She was cordial, and took our drink order, and appetizer order. We ordered two beers , two ice waters, and and bacon wrapped scallops. The beers came , along with cheddar biscuits ..both were cold. Forgot the ice water#1 !There would be a delay on scallops, so we ordered two bowls of clam chowder soup. Another 20 min's later' , still no ice water, request #2 , and its taken so long to get the soup out to us, the bacon wrapped scallops came out first! Bacon on scallops was undercooked/ raw! Clam chowder finally comes out! Request for ice water #3 !! Hubby and I dig in to chowder ! It's cold! But we can't send it back, because there's not a waitress to be seen for another 20 min's ! She finally comes with our ice water, apologizes for the biscuits and chowder being cold, blames it on the cooks, then quickly whisks away the cold chowder! Chowder comes back in a few min"s, mine is scalding hot, hubbys is barely room temp, but he eats it anyways. Caesar salads come out! There is sooo much dressing on the salad the lettuce is soggy and soupy. Entre's take another 15 min's to arrive, delivered by manager (?) Hubby's was good. My crab legs were not just cold, but ice cold! Again, had to sit and wait for awhile to turn them back in, as there was no waitress in sight! Waitress finally shows. Apologizes.Again, blames it on the cook. I finally get new plate of hot crab legs, again delivered by manager , with a warming top on them. She states that crab legs have a tendency to get cold if left on the table, untouched, after being delivered. ( Implying that I had let them sit and get cold after she delivered them lol) The truth is, I had come for crab legs! So when they were delivered to our table, everything else in front of me got pushed aside, and I dug in immediately! They were ice cold before they even hit the table. Later on, in the middle of eating our entree, I realized I was running out of drawn butter. Again, no waitress in sight. So I had to walk into the kitchen and holler for assistance. When she finally brought it, it was cold. We had ordeted two pieces of key lime pie for dessert. We never got. So when hubby went to restroom, he stuck his head in the kitchen and asked for the key lime pie to go, and our bill immediately! He was done. That was the first and last time we will ever eat at the Red Lobster...

I was reminiscing about my Dad, long gone now and how he would take us out when I was a kid for my Mother’s birthday also long gone now. She absolutely LOVED Red Lobster! Even when we went to the beach with all the seafood places down there she would still want to go to Red Lobster! In Rome, Ga which is where I was the other day for YEARS Red Lobster was THE place to go, even went there for prom back in the 80’s. So the other day not knowing what to expect with all the closure rumors swirling I went in by myself to commune with my parents so to speak. There weren’t many people there( started picking up as I was leaving though) but I noticed a lot of new dishes and offerings on the menu. “Franny” took care of me and was on top of things from the start. I don’t mean to be picky but as a former restaurant manager I’m quick to notice the little things but not actually complain about it. I ordered the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and they were VERY good. I was already impressed before the main dish came out! I’m a creature of habit but saw something I think was new which was The Salmon New Orleans. This was incredible, perfectly cooked and so beautifully presented…REALLY! Franny came by regularly as I was asking her questions about business and the rebooted Red Lobster. She was knowledgeable and upbeat. She seemed to be genuinely enthused about Red Lobsters future. Sorry this is so long but between the reason I even went in and the actual meal itself I was already thinking of when I could get back by there…. Which will probably be sometime next week. Read moreAll right here it is Rome…we’re doing the big red! My family and I were invited to attend my friend Cheryl’s birthday party. My friend Cheryl was participating in a documentary for the United Kingdom, and they wanted to interview her and her friends at the dinner. I managed to get a few pictures of the meals we where served. The management was very polite and helpful, The server was as thorough as I believe he could be with taking his orders, bringing the food and getting it to all the right people and he was very helpful.Red lobster🦞 was very busy. There was a few things I noticed; Dead fly in the window seal in the sitting area. Also on my way in to the party room I noticed a dirty table, on my way leaving out the restaurant the same table was still dirty. There was a hair in my broccoli plate. I really enjoyed the sunset colada!😋 in the end for the price of the food it could taste …better. They have handicap accessibility they do take out service to the outside of the restaurant. You can book private events, there are several kinds of beverages adult and children,the have desserts and they have a variety of side items and you can even put your own combo together! ** 👋 hello … I wanted to add something about red lobster.. 8/2/22 I called to order my fiancé lunch for his birthday, someone, I spoke to was very rude and disrespectful. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and the gentleman immediately made everything better. He was very friendly and courteous and apologized for someone else’s rudeness.
