I just went here with my friends and we got three separate orders. I got the cookie dough blizzard and my other friend got the choco brownie blizzard. When they handed us the first blizzard they told us it was the choco brownie blizzard, so my friend who got the choco brownie blizzard started eating it. Then they realized that blizzard was actually my cookie dough blizzard.
I asked if I could get it remade and they told me they were too busy. So then I asked for a refund and the worker said I'd have to give her back my change. I paid with a card. Then someone else came and told me I could get it remade if I paid for a second one.
I am not going to pay for their mistake. I told them as much. They said they could give me a new spoon, but my friend had already eaten from the blizzard. Her saliva was all up in that. Eating after her would have been unsanitary, but they didn't care.
Imagine if I had gotten sick or my friend had been allergic to something in the blizzard she ate because of their mistake. Their response to my request was entirely unprofessional. Then they had the nerve to argue with me over a refund and give me an attitude.
I have never had to pull a "Karen" moment. I usually don't. But their lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Do not go here unless you're looking to have...
Read moreHot fudge sundae FANTASTIC as always, [*And I NEVER write negative reviews], but their Customer Service skills are severely LACKING at the Shorter Avenue location of Dairy Queen in West Rome, GA. When the Customer is friendly, very polite, knows what they want to order BOTH inside AND at drive-thru, AND smiles/sincerely thanks them for food/dessert etc, and the DQ Employee NEVER replies, says "you're welcome", or "enjoy", etc.......many choices of appropriate replies are perfectly fine. This exact Customer Service issue has happened 4-6 times, at ALL our last 4-6 visits to this DQ location. Therefore, I believe the several employees who have consistently demonstrated this behavior, or lack of any customer service skills, clearly have issues with dealing with the public.....The Golden Rule is: usually ALL it takes to make most any Customer happy: Treat others the way you would like to be treated. It is NOT my intention to hurt their business with this feedback, however the use of social media reviews is most likely to yield any results whatsoever..... possibly these young DQ Employees at the Shorter Avenue location could use some empathy, compassion &...

I'm not over on that side of town anymore. They charged me for food I never received and didn't refund my card as the manager told me she would. I ordered via the app and it went to the wrong location and after calling they said to reorder for right location and it would take 3-5 days for me to receive the refund, I've been patient, it's been a couple of weeks and I still haven't gotten my money back.
After now looking at the other reviews, I feel this will get the same generic response,.... "Hi, we're sorry to hear 'about your' (or 'that you didn't have a great') experience. We appreciate your feedback and are always listening to our fans. We hope you give us another chance next time you're craving DQ food and treats.
