I should’ve left a review of this location about a year ago. I’m doing this hopefully they’ll make improvements and since they updated to 24 hrs. Just a constructive feedback to keep it in business and avoid future sufferings. Comparing this location to others (my top two are on 59 Plainfield and 59 Naperville? By the tolls and bp gas station which makes the most delicious hot coffee ever) (also the new one in old discount tires on Weber are speedy due to amount of employees and excellent teamwork, I know that two windows are the advantage there).
Areas needed attention for the one on Independence/53and normantown:
This is based on frequents ordering from that location. Once a while I would order there 5 days a week or so. Yeah, an Dunkin addict.
I think this has to do with proper training for the employees (I used to train people), and lacking management (one on 59 Plainfield is a perfect example of excellent teamwork and they actually do make offers).
It is all about teamwork and making sure they’re properly trained. Usually in business we have to put in efforts without the aids from the company. I had to do things that company didn’t mention when it comes to training for forklift certification so the associates are comfortable and have better knowledge of expectations with safety. I do see that the employees there are good people and are human beings, just needed someone in charge to be aware of this and take actions immediately. Opportunity are there and I care. Thanks for reading. Looking forward to the improvements to be made. And I wanna say thank you for updating to 24 hrs which is a plus for my long drives and cigar which is what I do in...
Read moreI was willing to let the first experience slide. I believe the person who served on us was in training. I ordered a large iced butter pecan latte. However, after receiving my latte through the drive-thru I pulled around to the front because I knew something was wrong. There was no espresso, just milk and the butter pecan syrup. They happily fixed it for me no problem and I was grateful. On the way back through town, several hours later we stopped there again to get the kids some ice cream. Our first order was a large unsweet iced tea. They said they were out of cold tea at the moment but I could have hot. The second order, for the kids, was a cookies and cream milkshake, they were out of cookies and cream. We then asked for a vanilla milkshake with Oreo pieces, they then informed us they were out of vanilla ice cream. Then we asked for a mint chocolate chip shake, we were then told they were out of that one too. with no one behind us we put it in reverse and went next door to McDonald's, where I got my large unsweet iced tea, and...
Read moreAbsolutely awful coffee. This is not the first or even the second time getting an iced coffee that was undrinkable. It was so bitter we had to throw out almost $10 worth of coffee each time. We don't go every day so to have the same problem on multiple occasions seems like something is going on. The one time we were able to even get a refund the manager was helpful over the phone however when we arrived to pick up our order we had to wait at the counter (no line) to pick up our order, the girls behind the counter couldn't be bothered to help or do anything for that matter, and The managers attitude was flippant to the point it was almost dismissive. It's a shame because this is the closest dunkin to my house and honestly Thorntons gas station right up the road from this location has better coffee than here. Astoundingly awful...
