Price: The price of the foods are decently charged and I don't think they are too cheap nor expensive to purchase. Overall, decent pricing.
Service: It's a relatively clean establishment with a tv showcasing some fĂștbol coverage. The attendees were very respectful and are always attentive to make sure that your needs are met throughout your stay. Just remember, this is a Mexican-styled restaurant, and so you should expect some Mexican decor and some occasional light Spanish spoken to you when you order (though you don't need to be a fluent speaker to understand. Poor Spanish-speaking people are welcome. đ )
Food: I ordered breakfast while I was there and was able to obtain it even past morning hours. The quality of the food is relatively on the high end of diner establishments. The pictures of the food on the menu are an accurate representation of what you'll actually receive. I ordered three regular golden brown pancakes and an original Benedict. I found the pancakes to be soft, fluffy and easy to consume. For syrup lovers out there, you may need to ask for more syrup packets then you receive initially as they don't have a syrup bottle displayed on the table. As for the benedict, the flavor was fine though I wouldn't call their hollandaise sauce the best there is. I found it to be overall creamy with the occasional lumps every now and then. I brought my mother and sister who both ordered country fresh eggs with sausage links and the Tuna Melt respectively. They didn't have any complaints and were both satisfied with their order. Needless to say, the food coma kicked in real quick and were left arguing who would be the designated driver.
Overall, respect for the hustle of serving both a breakfast menu and a burrito/lunch menu throughout open hours. Good diner style restaurants are becoming a rarity these days and I appreciate the work and commitment they took in establishing and maintaining this fine location. Thanks...
Read moreI was humiliated by the owner of this restaurant. I did not have enough money on me for my order which was one torta with avocado, small rice, and a rice water. I call and pre-ordered. The owner took my order, he did not ask what size rice water I wanted. When I got there, he rang up my order adn it was almost $18.00. I kindly asked him to remove the rice. He gave me dirty look and took the rice out of my bag. I told him I was sorry and I thought this order was very expensive. He appreared to get more frustrated and said, "This is not my fault, if you do not want it, get out of here!" I left my order there, hungry and humiliated. Previous encounters here with this same rude man have been negative. He does not have a nice personality, especially as a owner/manager, whatever his title is, he is mean. The food is not mexican authentic at all. I am extremely disapointed and it was humiliating as customers were eating at tables near the cash register. Please consider...
Read moreHonestly, I donât give out 1 star reviews. I think itâs reserved for when you have had a bad experience which I did on my take out here.
Chicken dinner - Rice tasted like Uncles Benâs rice in a bag. Beans from a can. And worst of them all, FOUND A BONE IN THE CHICKEN. Wife bit right into it on the first taco and the whole meal was ruined.
Giant Steak Burrito - Steak was alright, beans from a can still, literally forgot to put all the ingredients in.
Called and asked for a refund. Even offered to bring the food back, he said no but instead he would give me a discount for next time. Not even a meal replacement. This was my first time here and honestly I was so put off by it. Let me know the issue was with the chicken supplier. If thatâs true, thatâs awful because then your prep guys are not cleaning your chicken right.
Overall, would not return even if they gave me more food. We threw the taco dinner right in the trash. Where it...
