First visit of many, I am sure. So rare to have something INTERESTING to say about a Mexican restaurant. Though all taco spots have their own special twist; the variance is often too subtle to notice. Let alone mention or describe. Besides the unique dios de las muertos theme and creative decor, LaCassa Fierro has a legit jewel in their crown. THE PABLO CHALLENGE TACO!! Whether you love giant food challenges, bargan prices or great tasting food, the PABLO is going to make you smile. ($15) 18" flour tortilla folded and fried (It is even nicked in several places to ensure even cooking!) Beans (well seasoned, smooth and creamy) Ground beef with an authentic seasoning. Not salty or wet. Lettuce, tomato and onion. All crisp and fresh. Shredded cheese and sour cream on top. This 'taco' could be an appetizer dip for a table of 4 or 6(as was my plan when I saw it for the first time) but when I took the first bite I knew... this was all mine! Thank You La Cassa Fierro for the high level of care and preparation with a food item many places would treat as a joke.

I had a pretty good experience here, i’ve been eating here for around 2 years i’d say. I recently dined inside the restaurant. My tacos were super packed with steak and very tasty, However the tamales were gross. (i do not recommend the tamales here.) I do recommend the tacos tho. They have coke products and jarritos which i love. Staff is super polite and kind. I recommend dining in personally i enjoy that more then take out. 4 stars because some of the food is not so good and it some other small things. I do recommend though! If you love tacos this is the place for you for sure.

My favorite wet chicken burrito that's absolutely delicious. You can get it with the traditional sauce but I recommend trying the spicy sweet savory that's absolutely delicious. But if you're not sure stick with the traditional burrito sauce and get a side of sweet and savory sauce on the side to sample. Check it on Wednesday for the special at a good price. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely will not return. Entered the resturaunt authentic mexican experience tossed right out the window just from the Johnny Cash they were playing. We picked our table got our drinks. Wife's cup had dried red sauce on it..... Ordered food from there nasty greasy menus. Food came within 5 minutes I was instantly alarmed on quality of the food since now I knew it was not close to fresh. I finger tested the heat in the steak meat "COLD" not even close to serving temp! Wanna kill me? I called the waitress over and questioned her about the food she said it was made fresh....I told her she was lying to me she they asked if I wanted to return the tacos...knowing id get just slightly hotter garbage after a reorder and possibly spit in the food I just said not and tried to eat it. The first taco almost half the meat was pure gristle and fat.......and the coldness of the meat made it worse I had to spit it out one chunk was almost 1 inch long. Onto second taco only one bite has gristle making progress! Ok finished my 3rd with no issues other then to fight through the fake corn tortilla they served with the meal. Now onto the tamales where to start the tip of one tamale was so dry I had to cut it off at that point I was frustrated with the service and food quality but I decided to try to eat one soon as I opened it it fell apart it was so dry it was sticking to the corn husk I took one bite it felt like my mouth was instantly teleported to the Sahara Desert where it felt like grains of sand in my mouth has the tamale just sell the pieces inside my mouth sucking the moisture from my lips at this point I spat it out. At this point on the tamales sitting table the rest of the meal while my wife ate the rest of her burrito. So now I tell my wife I am going to ask for the manager so she goes to sit in the car. Manager comes and I question her about the food quality she said we get the meat from Meat Block and we just cook it. I said you don't check the quality of the meat before you cook it? She said no as i'm pointing to the meat I spat out about 1oz of meat on my plate. She looked mad that I said anything then I showed her the tamales I pinched one brung my hand up 7 inches or so above the plate and rubbed it together and it fell apart like I was sprinkling salt on my food I said that is the driest tamales I have ever seen in my life she said they microwave them I said what you don't steam them? She said they're perfectly fine we had them for breakfast..... then she said we do steam them but we can't keep them in the steamer should we microwave them on order. I said are you serious. Just let you take the cost are the tamales off my bill I said I guess since I couldn't eat them and that was it I paid for my Bill and left since his lady is completely clueless about the quality and how to properly run a restaurant service was subpar at best and I would have rather eating out of a dumpster. And the red sauce taste of...

I hate to leave this review because we've loved their food for many years. We always order a chicken enchilada plate with sweet sauce. My wife ordered it while sitting next to me. She ordered it the same way we've always ordered it and we've never had a problem until now. She came home with beef and cheese enchiladas. My wife can't eat red meat because of an autoimmune disorder. She was so upset that I called for her to get our order corrected. The girl that answered the phone tried to tell me that my wife ordered it wrong and she made it exactly how my wife ordered it. Which wasn't true because I was sitting right next to her and we have been ordering it the same way for at least 5 years now. She put me on hold and after a while she came back on the phone and told me that they would remake them even though they were ordered wrong. 👀 My wife gathered all of our food and brought it back up there to exchange it for the new food. She was greeted at the counter "oh, it's you" and they gave her the food with a nasty attitude with barely any eye contact. She brought the food home with tears in her eyes because of how she was treated. About an hour later we both have really nasty stomach aches with sharp shooting pains going from our hips to our ribs. I have cold sweats, I'm trembling and I'm very nauseous. **EDIT: I just spent the last 15 minutes emptying my stomach 🤮 I don't want to say the food was bad or that something might have happened to it but I've been working out in the backyard with contractors all day and this is the only thing I've eaten today. The only thing I've drank all day is reverse osmosis mineral water. I might remove this review later because I hate being mean but this whole situation sucks...

So because the manager wanted to call me a liar im gona do what I told her I was gona and make sure everyone knows not to go to la casa fierro (by plumbs on sherman). I called in an order and told them I have a severe allergy to milk (milk products, cheese, ranch etc.) And I said that they cant even touch my food if they have touched chesse, ranch anything that is able to transfer over to my food .... Well what happens when my husband gets home (yes he should of checked but thats not the point) there was chesse on my food and the manager proceeded to tell me that she checked and I was like well I didnt put it there so how did it get there and she was like idk cuz it wasnt there when I checked ... not only was there cheese on my food but on the box my food was in.... I understand it might not look like a big deal to some but to me this food is now contaminated and I cant eat it.... all we wanted was for her to put the food back on the card since I cant eat it and well since she said she check she wanted us to bring it in... we proceeded to tell her we live in north muskegon and drove out of our way for it (i cant have taco bell because of my allergy) and we werent gona drive out of our way to bring them back...she then said that there was nothing she could do then..... well im posting this because there is something i can do and thats make sure people now not to go there expecially if you have an allergy because they dont care....they need to take allergies seriously i might not have died from this but the next person might... i even told her that had i eaten this i could of ended up in the hospital she still...
