My wife and I have frequented the Roscoe DQ many times over the years, but tonight was our last visit. We pulled up to the drive through. and there was 1 car getting served, but the light was off on the sign. The car ahead of us at the speaker pulled away and left the parking lot without getting food which we thought was odd. We got to the speaker and waited a few minutes and tried asking several times if they were open with no response. We thought maybe the customer ahead of us at the window must have been the last, so we drove around and the sign said the drive through was open for another 25 minutes. So, we got back in line and my wife called out and asked the car ahead of us now at the speaker if they got an answer and they said no and drove off a couple minutes later. We noticed that the original car was still at the window so we pulled up behind them and when they pulled away with their food, my wife asked the young lady behind the window if they were open. We were told no and then the attendant rudely said “Thank you” My wide tried politely to tell them that they should update their signage then and the girl yelled “thank you” in a snotty tone and slammed the window. Tried messaging the owner on Facebook to explain what happened and just got condescending responses that tried to say we just misunderstood the situation. Admittedly, I lost my temper at that point, but we definitely made our last visit to...
Read moreToo long of a situation, however, ordered at drive thru-with my 3 kids, was told some things were out....which is fine so I ordered alternatives. Two being banana splits. Got to window to get my order when they told me then that they were out of whipped cream for the banana splits. Simply asked for a discount. "Manager" came and said she couldn't discount for being out of something. I said sure you can. Manager said no one else got a discount for being out of something. I said probably cause they didn't ask for one. She said I was arguing with her, gave my money back and wouldn't give my kids their ice cream! I was simply responding to her comments. No raised voice, not yelling. Just talking. It'd be one thing if they said something when I ordered that they were also out of whipped cream... could have decided to change something. Waited a half hour for them to tell me they were out then couldn't get my order😠asked for a number for corporate...she said she couldn't give it to me cause I didn't get a receipt from my order. BETTER BELIEVE I'LL BE IN THERE TOMORROW TO TALK TO SOMEONE ELSE! Then won't be back there again. Freedom of speech and reviews are...

Clean restaurant, friendly and polite service. We ordered children's meals and the $5 meal. I've had DQ meals in the past- several years ago, and let me tell you- DQ improved by leaps and bounds in that department.
The food was surprisingly good- you can taste the (better) difference in the burger meat like when you eat a burger patty from MCD :( versus Burger King :). The fries were crispy and long- few bits/ too small pieces. No saggy fries!
I was very impressed at the size of the applesauce and the brand (Musselman's). The kids even got Dasani water bottles- regular/ full size- yay! I wasn't expecting that. I thought they might get the little 3.5 ounce bottles. And, the children's ice cream cones were filled completely inside the cone with a generous helping/ swirl on top!
We upgraded our single topping sundaes to small Blizzards (+$1). It was worth it- the toppings were mixed in well and evenly. Generous serving for a small.
The value was great for the price. We'll probably come here instead of go to Culver's unless we really want to eat...
