So this particular McDonald's is basically like ever other McDonald's but there were several things that stuck out to me here.
There were Several people that came in and left because no one was at the counter to take their order. Employees would peek around the corner occasionally to see if anyone was waiting and they would sometimes see someone.. but often people would come in.. wait for help for a bit, look confused.. look at the ordering kiosk anxiously.. and then leave without food.
I'm fine with mobile and kiosk orders personally, but clearly not everyone is.. and here it kind of seemed that if you wanted to order with a person you might be out of luck.
There also is no fountain drinks available, a sign saying no refills, no station for napkins or ketchup, and again nobody at the counter to ask for anything.. but I don't wanna be unfair, that might be par for the course at all McDonald's post-covid for all I know.. I rarely eat inside, I'm just traveling right now and wanted to stop. But from what I saw while stopping here for about 20min.. is it seems very unwelcoming for any guests that aren't comfortable with the kiosk...
Read moreMade the mistake to exit the Interstate to stop at this McDonalds. Four of us in the vehicle. We ordered two Mocha Frappes, a black coffee and a black coffee with sugar. The person at the window handed us our order and we asked which coffee had sugar? She said “I don’t know.” We asked don’t you mark them? Again she said “I don’t know.” We asked if one of us was supposed to taste them to find out. And again “I don’t know.” What happened to simply pushing the raised point on the lid down that is marked “other” to distinguish the coffees from each other. Don’t know if we should blame this on the slight minded person that thinks McDonalds is a career job or the owner/manager that just don’t care to train them correctly. If you need extra employees grade school is still out for the summer. On top of all the the coffee was cold and the Frappes were melted. I recommend you drive on by this...
Read moreGot a double quarter pounder with cheese, no pickle. The meat patties were only on the bun half way and in opposite directions. I wish I got a photo, but I just muttered to myself "figures as much" and I deconstructed it, placed the meat patties on the bun like anyone one else in the hamburger eating world would expect the meat to be placed on a hamburger bun, and then ate it. Of course by now, the cheese was on my fingers and the onion was everywhere....
I'm about ready to just take a camping stove with me, and just cook up a burger in a parking lot like some homeless person. These people kept crying for $15/hr a few years ago, so now there is no one to take an order anymore, you have to finger the menu screen that probably hasn't been cleaned since it was installed.
Don't think I'll be back to this location, and the other location in town is even worse...
