Kim's Cupcakery — Restaurant in Roseburg

Lovely bakery in Roseburg Oregon that offers custom cake, cupcake and small baked goods to order. They also have cute little gift items for your special occasion. We ordered a red velvet cake for a birthday and it came out perfect. While we waited for the finishing touches to the cake, we grabbed a canoli and a walnut chocolate chip cookie. Everything was fantastic and you can tell by the taste and look of the baked products that these gals put alot of love into baking them. I'm bummed more people don't know about this special little bakery, I think some marketing would help. They didn't have loads of product because they can only bake what will sell without being wasteful and having to toss out amazing food. I saw a sign inside the shop that they don't do weddings. I believe they only have a few staff members but what they do bake is seriously worth purchasing. It's a small shop, so I see why larger orders would be difficult. They also do not make cheesecakes. However, I believe It's a Roseburg Gem that doesn't get enough attention. There are quite a few gems in Roseburg that the city could really help out by helping them market, and it's a shame they don't get the attention they deserve. They do have a Facebook page but no website or boxes for your orders like bigger bakeries would have. My cake was given to me in a cut off box and it was able to slide around although we were able to get it home safely. Usually you'd get a proper cake box with a lid and no room for the product to slide around. The canoli was given to us in a chinese food to go box, and the cookie was the only item placed in a proper cookie bag. I do not think a lesser review is necessary because of these facts but i would reccomend to the owner to get some proper boxes for cupcakes, cakes and canolis that a typical bakery would provide. Aside for those few details, The cake order was probably worth more then what they sold it for. We did a double layer red velvet with cream cheese frosting and edible red roses as a topper. It was a lovely cake that got many complements at the party and everyone said how speedy it must have been. It was under $30 and fed 8 people giant slices they could hardly finish. I am very grateful for the work they put into this and will order from them more often. I highly reccomend Kim's Cupcakery and hope to see them succeed in this...

I ordered sonic the hedgehog theme birthday cake and cupcakes for my son. They were very sweet on the phone when ordering. I chose them because they do dye free frosting and cake. Everything tasted amazing and it looked great! Everyone loved it! Will order from there again because I can't recommend it enough! The only two things that weren't dye free were the stars and rings. But it matched the theme perfect and was easily picked off! 1000/10 would recommend! I wish I would have gotten more pictures of the cake and cupcakes but oh well! Got eaten up way...
