I went to this sonic and ordered a #1 in the drive through at 8:07pm. I sat in the drive thru for over 20 min and when I got to the window I stared at my food though the glass while the cashier made multiple drinks before acknowledging my existence a few minutes later. Once I paid and was handed my food I opened the bag and discovered I was given fries that were about the same quality as the ones that get lost between the car seats for a few weeks. Totally cold, rock hard, and dry. I looped around to one of the stalls and pressed the button. After a few minutes a girl came on the speaker and told me the stalls closed at 8pm, so I told her I was just there to get a refund. She never responded. I pressed the button again and a guy answered and told me the stalls were closed. I told him I wanted a refund for waiting for over 20min and getting bad cold fries. He told me he was going to be right out. He never came out. I ended up sitting there for another 10 min wondering if I was going to get any service for my refund request. I ended up putting my mask on and walked to the main entry with my food where I signaled to the guy in the back that I needed service. I told him the issue, handed him my food and drink and told him I wanted a refund. He said he was getting his manager and took my food inside. I watched through the windows as all of the employees tried their hardest not to look at me, like they were too scared to give some customer service. The cashier looked like he was slammed with orders while the girl behind him was just standing at her station doing nothing and the guy in the back was trying to avoid me. Nobody ever came out while I stood there at the main entrance waiting for 10 minutes. I ended up going back to my car and driving to the ordering speaker in the drive though to ask if I was refunded for my order. He told me I was and I said thanks and left. I will literally never go back to sonic. That was the worst service and worst quality food I have ever experienced at any restaurant. Read moreSpent an hour trying to get our mobile order, still left with the wrong order. Ordered 9 drinks (I know that’s a lot) and 2 of the same cheeseburger with medium tots. Waited over 20 minutes- which was all good since we ordered a lot. She came out with 5 drinks that were all clearly wrong and incorrect sizes. Told her this was not our order and she went back inside- no one came back. 10 minutes later I pushed the button asking for an eta and the response was “we’ve been looking for you, you said you were in stall 13” which we were….. she came back with the same exact order that was wrong. We had a total of 8 times a carhopper came to the car- just to get us 6 limeades, 1 Dirty Diet Coke, 1 regular coke and our food. We finally got the drinks- when we got home we found out the dirty Diet Coke was swapped with a regular, we paid for a medium tot but received a half filled small tot and no sauce. Called the restaurant asking for a refund for the hour wait and bad customer service- the manager passed me to the General Manager who also could not help and said we needed to bring the receipt back to their location. After explaining it was a mobile order and we never got a physical receipt. She was able to pass the information to a 3rd party to start a refund.
Rough experience considering our order was a mobile and clearly laid out- 6 of the drinks were the same and it still took multiple times to get it right? I will definitely not be...
Read moreWe put in an order in the app and put it in for stall #2. Someone came out to us and asked if we were a doordasher and when we said no, he went back inside. We waited for nearly an hour. We know we could have gone up to the window sooner, but figured out food would be brought out soon seeing as we were twh ONLY vehicle there. Nobody in the drive through, no other cars in any of the other stalls until a doordash driver pulled up.. Eventually, someone picking up a doordash order did come and ask us if we had been waiting for very long, because she had also been waiting for quite some time. She had to walk up to the drive through window to get her order. My boyfriend also had to walk up to the drive though window to get our order and when he did, he was told "sorry, we didn't know where you guys had went." Didn't know where we went? What? We were sat in the same stall for over an hour. How hard is it to look and see that there is an unclaimed pickup order and a single car out there and put two and two together? The tater tots were soggy, food like warm, drinks melted to the point that they had to be remade, but they only offered to remake one of them. No apology, no coupon, no comp, no free item. Nothing to make up for the fact that they simply just left the food sitting there because they couldn't be bothered to...
