So excited this location is finally opening! Check out their socials for upcoming Grand Opening details!
Parking: If you're planning on driving here, don't do it. There's a small compact parking lot. Finding a spot will be a challenge.
Ambiance/Environment: This location is right next to Bake & Che. If you've been to the Westminster location, then you'll notice it's a similar set up. They have a small indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating and no outdoor seating. Very clean and modern inside. Just like their other locations, there is a constant line. You can mobile order, order at the register, or order at the kiosk. It can get crowded and overwhelming inside. This spot is more of a quick grab-n-go.
Service: There are a lot of workers behind the counter. I ordered at the kiosk, so I didn't really interact with anyone. Throughput was extremely quick considering how busy they were. It only took about 5 min after placing my order.
Drinks & food: Da Vien is my favorite coffee shop for a reason. Their Viet coffee is strong af and will keep you awake and energized throughout the day. Their foams are thickkk, delicious, and pairs perfectly with their coffee. Their matcha is definitely premium, and their teas are refreshing. I've already tried all their drinks lmao. My order changes every time, but my favorite is their Egg Coffee and Davien Coffee. I actually tried their ham & cheese croissant this time. Itâs small, and it tasted as expected.
Pricing: Absolutely worth it. I love all their drinks. Highly recommend joining their rewards app for "cubes" and...

Read moreMy inner calmness is sponsored by caffeine and sarcasm. Lol. Letâs do this new coffee shop review.
Da Vien Coffee (est 2025) is a new corner Vietnamese coffee shop located in a tiny plaza on Garvey ave in Rosemead. They serve a modest albeit limited selection of coffee, teas, matcha, pastry and cold drinks.
Its interior layout was small with minimal aesthetic decor. Seats were comfortable. Atmosphere was okay but the hype of this new coffee shop kinda dampened it. I came on a hot afternoon and it was bloody packed like sardines by young female students of Asian decent. I perused their menu and decided to try their Da Vien Coffee (iced) @$6 usd with cream on top. It was strong, sweet and smooth. However, my drink was disappointing because it was riddled with 70% cubed baby ice than the actual coffee liquid itself. Basically, after five sips of my drink it was utterly gone quickly. I feel like it didnât even reached my tummy.
Parking lot is limited but plenty of street parking. Staff were affable and competent. Prices were fair. Quality was good.
Overall, I am somewhat disappointed. Sadly, I cannot see myself coming back nor recommend this coffee shop. To...
