Flamingo Inn — Hotel in Rosemead

We're from Hawaii and this is our second time staying here not for one day more like five days. The location is great everything wasn't too far from us. I haven't seen any strange people hanging out in the area just the people who were staying here out for a cigarette. No damages to our car rental, great parking always a stall open for us. We travel light so the second floor was no big deal.||What really spook me is we've gotten random calls to our room phone, one was around 12am and the rest was at 8am in the morning and we weren't expecting any calls either. This woke me up the first time the second night I waited for it, two nights in a row something strange, someone or something would walk from beginning to end of motel and starting knocking on the building. For the rest of the nights nothing happened.||The room was clean looking, rug is dirty noticed it after a shower while walking barefoot, bathroom is clean. Bed was a bit hard but enough for me to sleep in. Fridge and blow dryer in room, microwave washer dryer downstairs also with vending & ice machines.||Overall one of the best place we stayed at.|Looking at a third time visit...

Stayed here in fall of 2023 and they watch black guests as they go to their cars. The manager approached me in my car and said he needed to move me to another room because the one underneath mine had a leak coming through. The curtains and bedding were stained and I had to wash them because I asked the lady at the front desk for more bedding upon check in but she refused sheets to me. Housekeeping approached me as I was washing my sheets and asked if my room number was the exact room number I had been staying in. That’s intrusive how they memorize your room number and approach you. I heard management announce themselves outside of neighboring rooms and then enter when no one answered. That led me to believe they watch you come and go and enter your room when you are not there. I asked for a refund and the manager made it so that I didn’t get the rate for one week and I ended up paying more for individual days. They exploit minorities here by renting out unsanitary living spaces. I give this place "0" STAR. Only shows 1 STAR, because my review would not post with "0" STAR. I would stay away from this place!! It's very DIRTY/FILTHY. We had to ask for extra sheets to lay it on the carpet, we covered the whole floor and the sheets that were given to us were very dirty with stains and so was the bath towels too. One word GROSS. Pulled the covers off the bed and a cigarette butt fell out onto the floor. Bed is squeaky and sunken in. Bathroom was dirty, toilet with stains, mildew in the shower, bath mat is a piece of recycled paper with foot prints. Certain areas in the room where you walk was squeaky. TV works like crap, can't catch channels, no sense in turning it on. The bath faucet were backwards, hot was cold and cold was hot. Corner of the room smelled like urine. Stink like the sewer.
