This review is only for the ready-to-eat food sold on Saturday and Sunday. Recently I opted for the Padang chicken rice combo, yellow rice combo and chicken mushrooms noodles.
By dinner time the Padang chicken rice combo had molds growing underneath and the chicken mushroom noodles was slimy. Both foods were spoiled and inedible. What a disappointment, not to mention a complete waste of time and money.
Unfortunately, this isn't news to me. During the pandemic many food sellers have been cutting corners on the quality of their food, thus compromising the well-being of the customers who bought and eat those foods.

Read moreOm Pitias (owner) was very nice to me when I went a month ago to review the store for my youtube channel. They have all the basic Indonesian products one might need for the daily consumption. I also love that they serve ready to eat Indonesian snacks and food from other vendors (way to support one another!) I wish them good luck and hope they get to open another store closer to West LA because driving to this store is almost an adventure on its own from Santa Monica area. In addition, given that there are lots of Indonesian students that attend Universities on the west side (UCLA, LMU, Pepperdine, & SMC) they have the market here!
