UPDATE*Just had Alisa's for the first time in quite a while. I am a lot happier than I was in my previous visit. I did order the Curry Pad Thai again and made sure I said no no spice, the nice lady seemed to understand. I also ordered the drunken noodles and said no no spice also. So........the spring rolls and free pop and the pot stickers were wonderful. My dishes were still very spicy! 🥵 🔥 I just don't understand, my taste buds must be very sensitive lately. So, I know now not to order the curry in the Pad Thai but the drunken noodles I don't understand bc it doesn't say that it should have spice in it on the menu. But both dishes were to my pleasant surprise, extra extra plentiful with meat and veggies and were of great proportion again compared to my previous visit. So I am very happy that I took the chance and tried Alisa's again! 💜💜
I have eaten here many times but this time wasn't great for me. My mistake, I ordered Pad Thai curry and didn't know how freakn hot it is here. I have had it at other Thai restaurants not like this. This was on fire. So beware! Thankfully, they remade it for me without the mild spice. But it was still on fire for me. But my thing is, I get they raised the prices but they also decreased the ingredients. Sad it has come to this. Even the free spring rolls are half the size they...

Grub hub is their delivery option. I think GrubHub has terrible service so I can't put that on Alisa's. Grub hub didn't have almond boneless chicken so I called and asked could I add a entree and they substitute it for almond boneless chicken I would just put it in the comments, they gladly agreed I thought that was so nice because that's what I was craving and really really wanted to try this place. Well the original entree came instead 😭 grub hub did refund this item though but I'm still craving it lol the drunken noodle was soooooo good. Pretty close to my favorite place in Rochester. The rice was supposed to be fried but came white. But that was also ok,because I like buttered white rice to and will probably just fry it myself tmrw. It was very good for white sticky rice. The wonton soup was good but if you're looking for that natural veggie stock taste it's not for you, it has more of garlic, ginger soy sauce taste. The spring rolls were very good and very close to my mother in law's version and hers are to die for. I'd order from here again though. But I will pick up and see if that changes the review from 4 stars to 5. Because again ordering through GrubHub has a tendency to some how lower the quality...
Read moreI decided to try Alisa's Thai Food based on the overall high ratings they've received. It's a decision I do not regret. ☺️
For starters, they only offer takeout and delivery. The shared parking lot is spacious, so no worries there. I ordered 2 sides of fried rice, 1 side of steamed vegetables, a few spring rolls, a couple of crab rangoons, and the mild Bang Bang Chicken. The Bang Bang Chicken was delicious! The sauce did not take away from the crispness, and there was plenty of it. The fried rice is some of the best I've had in the area. It's not over seasoned and paired well with the chicken. The steamed vegetables were steamed perfectly, and had no seasoning (which I prefer). Now the crab rangoons? They were huge and amazing. I could not get enough of them. They were crisp, and the filling was to die for. The plum sauce given tasted homemade, and paired very nicely with the rangoons, spring rolls, and fried rice. Call me obsessed.
I definitely recommend this spot for Thai food and will...
