I have been going to this location since they opened. Loved the gluten free pizza and it tastes like normal pizza. Starting a few months ago when this location changed owners, I have had issues multiple times with my GF pizza and GF cheese bread not being cut at all. Each time I placed an order after first incident, I would ask them to please ensure it was cut. Each time I would call them back to let them know it wasn't cut and that I didn't have anything to really cut it with at home. Each time they would apologize, tell me that the new owner trains them to NOT cut the GF items to avoid cross contamination.
I can understand that, but the fact is the main parent location in Eastpointe keeps two separate sets of utensils (for regular and GF items), cuts their GF items every time, and this location should too. Every other pizzeria in SE Michigan that I have tried, cuts it without issue.
The last time this happened few weeks ago, one of the staff told me they agreed with me and that they were buying a separate set of utensils for GF so this wouldn't happen again. I told them I was very appreciative, but if this happened again I would be leaving a bad review and contacting the main location to report it. He said he understood completely.
Yesterday I placed a delivery order, asked them twice to ensure it was cut because of past issues, and they delivered both items uncut. This is the 4th time. I called and spoke to Rob, explained the situation and that I had asked twice to ensure the items were cut. Rob told me "sorry, but that's the way we are trained. There's nothing I can do". I told him that wasn't true, what the previous person told me, and that their parent location cuts them all them time by using two sets. Again he stated there is nothing he can do.
I asked them to remake the items, deliver them, and I ensured this time they were cut properly. It saddens me that the new ownership feels this is acceptable, and they refuse to buy a second set of utensils. In addition last month we were given wrong sauce with cheese bread (not a big deal), but when my wife nicely asked to correct the issue, the staff member told her the owner said he had to charge for the replacement.
I have been more than patient, have tried to work this out by phone and in person each time, and didn't leave any reviews nor contact corporate until today. Very disappointing. I will no longer recommend this location to others for good GF pizza. If these issues are resolved in the future, I may return and revise my review...
Read more2 thumbs down. I accidentally placed a pizza order to the wrong location. I went to pick up in Eastpointe. I called the Roseville location. I told the manager what I had done, and I said, if you give me a discount, I’ll pick it up. first words out of her mouth, she said it wasn’t her fault. Wow. I responded that she didn’t need to say that. She hung up on me. I called back, I asked what the managers name was. I was told they couldn’t give out employees names. And I was hung up on again. Manager answered, and she told me she has worked there form10 years and no one ever asked for a discount when they made the mistake. I replied how rude she was, as she kept trying to defend her actions. Pizza is on ever other bloc, and they cloverleaf has lost a customer. The conversation/debate was shocking to me. I told her she could have offered me a dollar off, but her demeanor was uncalled for. This is the abbreviated account of that call. But her rudeness and unwillingness was not warranted. No wonder she is stuck in that job for 10 years. Definitely needs some sensitivity training. So, I went to jets pizza without drama...
Read moreBEWARE!!! Let me this first, I should have read all these bad reviews before ordering from CLOVERLEAF .. I don’t see a person from this establishment apologizing or trying to fix the issues. That’s a red flag within itself. Moving forward .. My first time and my last time … I don’t know what location Mr. Chime went to, but it couldn’t have. been the Roseville location. I order a three topping large pizza, it was the WORSE. I live ONE mile away. Why was the pizza COLD? The pizza was supposed to be a pepperoni, green pepper and onion pizza. I could barely find any of the what tasted like uncooked pepperoni. The crust had potential to be delicious if it was cooked a little to hold up to the toppings. And .. last but not least, when I pay for extra cheese .. I want to see extra cheese. If that was extra cheese, I would loved to see what amount of cheese is placed on a regular pizza. 29.00 down the drain. GREEN LANTERN OR JETS .. for...
