Riverside Pizzeria — Restaurant in Roseville

Ehh, it was ok. The hot wings straight sucked unless freezer-to-oven hot wings at $1 each is what you like. The bleu cheese dressing was also weak - It tasted more like ranch with tiny bits of bleu cheese in it - I've had far better from a bottle. The pizza (Gourmet Chicken) was pretty good with plenty of toppings, but it seems like it was lacking in flavor. I think the garlic sauce was the culprit as it just wasn't very flavorful. I also prefer my toppings to be more evenly spread out on the pizza (push some of those toppings out towards the outside edge of the crust). Crust was good and properly cooked. I had been wanting to try the place out since it's so close to the house, but there are several other pizza places close by that I'd rather order from at...

I went looking for a place that makes Calzones. This place came up and showed 4.4 stars. I ordered a calzone by phone was told it would be ready in thirty minutes. Took closer to an hour but that was okay. Got my order, got in the car and it smelled soooo good that if it had been sliced I would have eaten it before getting home. The taste was great. They also had some seasonings on top of the calzone that inhanced the flavor. My only criticism is that there wasn't any cheese inside the calzone. There was a little on top but nothing inside. Could be my fault I didn't order cheese as one of my toppings. I just figured it would automatically come with cheese. I will definitely go again. I'll just ask for cheese as a topping...

From the outside it doesn't look like much however the staff was extremely polite, the AC was blowing strong, and the tables were clean. The wife and I ordered a calzone combo style, she ordered a coke and I got a track 7 beer on tap in a frosted mug (the best way to have a beer) The calzone was excellent cook all the way through with the crust being crispy, we will definitely be coming back with our children next time we are in the area and want pizza. The reason for a 4 star was because of the wait time for the calzone which is ok because it's made fresh and to order but if your looking for a quick grab and go I recommend calling it in. Can't wait to come back and get a slice of there...
