Downloaded mobile Dairy Queen app & had either a freebie or BOGO which were rudely declined by the cashier, “We don’t take those coupons.” I had just enough money for both my husband’s shake & my blizzard with the coupon but since I didn’t want to disappoint my husband and show up empty handed, I bought his shake.
I politely told the cashier something along these lines, “If this location doesn’t accept the coupons provided on the Dairy Queen app - and last I checked, this was Dairy Queen - you should at least have signage stating as such. I waited in line for nearly 20 minutes for dessert for my husband and myself as a little treat until payday but now I don’t have enough for both items because I had no clue you didn’t accept the coupons provided on your brands app that indicates this location as a participating one. Please save the next person the frustration and post a sign or something that indicates this discrepancy.” The cashier didn’t bother to apologize or even attempt some semblance of general empathy as they scoffed and turned their back to me. A lady behind me in line kindly offered to pay for mine as it was a birthday coupon I recall, but I graciously declined as it was not her responsibility to correct the situation.
I realize most of the employees are high school kids but hire employees that might actually give a damn that you’re losing business? I always got DQ ice cream cakes for my birthday but since this happened last year, my last two birthdays have had ice cream cakes that are just as delicious as DQ but way more affordable.
Won’t return until mobile coupons...
Read moreMe and my family plus friends have been going to this DQ for a few years and always had good experiences til now. I went to DQ to get my usual which is an large strawberry sundae, I bought two of them and when I saw how much little ice cream I was given I was completely disappointed. So apparently they cut back on there ice cream size but still have the nerve to charge you the same price as before. I called my mother to ask if her strawberry sundaes look differently now she replied saying “ Her ice cream been looking like it’s sick”. Why would this DQ advertise on the side of there building what all their sundaes look like but don’t even give you that. Do not buy any of there sundaes your better off with an blizzard before they start cutting back on that as well. This DQ completely officially lost my business as well as my family business, If they want to be cheap and greedy then I’ll refuse to be a fool.
Edited 2021-New Business owners and the ice cream is amazing and completely filled to the top. Very friendly staff on board. Changing my review from...
Read moreAbsolutely horrendous service tonight at this location. I cannot believe they tolerate such bad customer service. No one in line in front of us, one couple waiting on a milkshake, 5 people inside the DQ working. We Wait at the window, and then we wait some more....a young man standing at the window asks another employee what's the code so I can help the next customer...she tells him No. We wait at least 3 more minutes...she waits on us at the window we were standing in front of, and at no time says Thank you, or by the way your order will be served at the end window on the left (about 10 ft away). We notice someone put sundaes at the next counter where the couple waiting on the milkshakes were standing, but didnt think anything of it. Finally the girl waiting on the milkshakes says, I think these are yours,....Really?? What kind of service is that? I'm still standing right in front of the window she took my order at. We will not visit this DQ location again. Very...
