Glowing Review for Indo-Asian Cuisine
If you're searching for an exceptional culinary experience, look no further than Indo-Asian Cuisine.
Today, we indulged in a delightful lunch that truly impressed from start to finish. This restaurant offers a broad selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, so there’s something for everyone, no matter your dietary preference.
We started with the samosas and yogurt chickpeas, a wonderful way to warm up our palates. The samosas were perfectly crisp on the outside, with a flavorful and spiced filling inside that left us craving more. The yogurt chickpeas were creamy, balanced with a slight tang, and the combination of these dishes created a satisfying start to our meal.
I ordered the curry chicken, which was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The flavors of the curry were bold, yet not overwhelming, with each bite building on the last. The colors of the curry, a deep golden hue, paired with the vibrant vegetables, made it visually appealing as well. My mom opted for a vegetarian dish, which was equally impressive, with an array of fresh, colorful vegetables in a fragrant sauce that complemented each ingredient beautifully.
And then there was the bread—oh, the bread! Baked fresh in-house, it’s some of the best I’ve had in a very long time. It was soft, pillowy, and warm, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. The garlic naan was a particular highlight, perfectly balanced between soft and chewy, with the delightful taste of fresh garlic baked right in. It paired incredibly well with both of our dishes, soaking up every drop of that incredible curry sauce.
We also enjoyed hot chai tea, which was spicy, soothing, and the perfect drink to round out the meal. It was rich with warming spices and had just the right amount of sweetness to complement the meal’s savory flavors.
The service was excellent. We were actually referred here by a kind service person at Lowe’s, and we’re so glad we took their recommendation! From the friendly staff to the wonderful smells that greet you the moment you walk in, Indo-Asian Cuisine delivers a welcoming and delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a satisfying meal.
We left full and satisfied, with leftovers in hand—portions are generous! If you're craving flavorful, hearty, and well-executed Indian cuisine with options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike, this place is an absolute must-visit. We can’t wait to return for another round of fresh bread, chai, and delicious curries.
Final Thoughts: Whether you're a fan of spicy dishes, love fresh vegetarian options, or are simply in the mood for some of the best homemade bread, Indo-Asian Cuisine will not disappoint. Everything from the vibrant colors to the incredible smells makes this a standout restaurant, perfect for anyone craving authentic and well-prepared Indian food. We will...
Read moreI’m so sad to have edit this old review. I don’t know what happened but this place did not just go downhill, it careened off of a cliff. The building smells a lot like a certain… smoked herb… and a choking amount of incense, which might explain our experience.
We stopped in for lunch and there was only one other family there, who did not yet have food or drink. After we were seated, no one came to take order. We waited for 5+ minutes. Eventually, I decided to just walk up to the guy on his phone sitting behind the counter to see if we could just order some appetizers (naan and papadum) to go and get out of there quickly…. No dice on the quickly. He took our order and payment but then proceeded to tell us that it was going to be a half hour to get just papadum and naan… when there were was only one other family there waiting (more on them at the end). After hearing the lengthy amount of time, it would take them to make that simple order, we really regretted it. We had already paid so we were stuck. It ultimately took them even longer than 30 minutes to get us our food, wasting our rare “date day away from the kids” time. We were not happy…. Especially when we finally got to taste the food we waited so long to get. It was awful! The Papadum was cold and drenched in oil. So much oil, in fact, that you couldn’t dip it in the water based sauce because the oil repelled it! And the most ridiculous part was (and I am as positive as I possibly can be about this…) the “naan” they gave us they made with Bisquick mix!
Just to add on, apparently the other family who has been waiting to be served, hadn’t ordered either because when we went up to order our takeout, they came up and got behind us to ask if they could just order takeout as well! I don’t know what’s going on in that restaurant anymore, but it’s...
Read moreHorrible. I ordered multiple dishes from the menu over the phone. I was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes. Showing up at the restaurant on time, the food was not ready. Plus, there was no record of my order and some confusion arose. I was told my order was given directly to the back of the house. 10 minutes later (30 min.) no order, 20 minutes later (40min) no food, 30 minutes later (50 min) no food. I then asked for the third time if my order was ready. I was told yes, but the manager/owner cited items that I did not order. The manager explained the restaurant was out of certain items and they had to make substitutions. I would have thought they would have known this when I called my order in an hour ago. After agreeing on some of the substitutions, I left with my order. Upon arriving home, I discovered I was missing items that were promised and the quality of the food was poor. Slop with Indian and asian spice on it. Straight to the trash... Save yourself money, time, and aggravation - don't order food from this place. You could make it better yourself or just eat some place where you will get what you order, on time, and...
