I'll give 2 star, the reality is your food is great, and I've never had a problem with the food. I work across the street from you, we place large orders all the time. However, as of tonight I will no longer be ordering from you. I went you YOUR WEBSITE (meetatthebar.com) and I searched my home address and YOUR WEBSITE said I was in your delivery area. It took the driver well over an hour to bring my order after the confirmation email said 30-45 min. No phone call or contact whatsoever. When he got here he was aggressive and rude, not so much as a hi, his first words were saying how he shouldn't have to deliver here because it's out of his area. He continued to say "I will never deliver to you again, so you should not order from us." Well, ok then I won't, from home or from work. It is not my fault that your website is inaccurate. I have no problem coming to pick up an order if I'm too far for you to deliver to. But to come to my home, and basically tell me it's my responsibility that your website is wrong, and to do it so rude and inappropriately. Simply unprofessional.
EDIT: Sept 29th, 2020. Today I received a HAND WRITTEN letter from the GM, Jeremy, of this location. It was 100% specific to my incident. He informed me that the delivery employee was suspended. I hope that the employee learned and understands the valuable customer service lesson here, and will be able to retain his employment with this location. The letter went on to apologize and explain the values that Jeremy, and the company, have in regards to customer service and the importance of his customers to his buisness. While the incident that happened to me was completely unprofessional, I do understand that mistakes are made every day. Because of this, and the fact the food has always been good, I have changed my star rating and will patronize this location again in the future. Jeremy has shown that the Rothschild location holds professionalism and customer service to the utmost importance. Read moreThe food was good - definitely recommend the Farmhouse and other burgers, and the Chicken Grande Burrito (the size was definitely "grande", and came out very hot, as the waitress warned) - but, the service was less than stellar. Visited during the 10/16/16 Packer v. Dallas game after golf. The lot was mostly full, but It was not as busy as we anticipated given the amount of cars in the lot. Still, our party of four waited ten minutes, or more, for service, before I took it upon myself and went to the bar for menus. The waitress showed up a few minutes later, and apologized. Said it was very busy (There were empty tables, and I counted at least three, maybe four waitresses). Waited 5 minutes, or more, for our drinks. Our food came out in timely manner. The waitress didn't stop back to check our drink situation until we had nearly finished our meal and were preparing to leave. Waited 5 minutes for our bills. Signed the credit card receipt, but did not get my credit card back. Several people in our group used the restroom before leaving (one of the soap dispensers was out of soap), so there was opportunity to get the card to me before we left. Spoke with the general manager via phone the next day when I noticed it missing from my wallet. Thankfully they had it. He offered to mail my credit card (NO!). He said keeping my credit card was "an honest mistake". Had to drive one hour, roundtrip from my office to get my credit card back. There was no offer of "making it right" over the phone. Always willing to give an establishment a 2nd chance, but having serious thoughts about doing that...
Read moreI remember about 15 years ago you could barely walk in that place on a Friday, or Saturday night. One of the best places to go dance without the ghetto vibe of Bruisers aka Night School. Now you walk in, and it's completely empty, and not to mention i used to shoot Pool there all the time, but never had to bring my own cue. (which now I prefer) Every time I've shot there all the sticks are bent. I brought this up to one of the managers, and she told me you get what you get. Not a good response. Also went there for a friend's birthday party once because we like the free drinks with the glow in the dark button to go with it. We were all shooting pool after we ate our dinner, and then it was time to enjoy drinks. We got shitty service, nobody was even at the bar for extended periods of time, and we were talked to about the amount of shots we were ordering. We were told if we kept ordering an abundance of shots consistently that we'd be asked to leave. We had about 8 ppl at our table by the pool table. We weren't being disorderly, rude, or immature. We were just some bros enjoying a night out on my bro's birthday. We laughed maybe a little too loud at times, but the place was empty, and we all drink a lot too. Never had these problems before with that bar so idk what's going on. The food overall is okay too. The wings/pizza are on point though! The place is usually empty now though. Night life...
