We went as a group (15 people) and the service was awful, i called the central/most popular one of their restaurants and told ahead that we were going to dine in there and the lady on the phone asked which location is it the lamar one i said yes, few hours later we went to this restaurant because in the address it also says lamar. The waitress asked if we have a reservation and i said yes and told the name she said no we don’t see it i said that i have a reservation in the lamar location she said this is nort lamar not the regular one. We’re coming from houston for vacation for only a day we were going to eat and hit the road as fast as possible. That was the plan so we didn’t have time to go to a different restaurant. I started ordering for the group and we were paying individually so the order was long and confusing. I’m not saying that it’s easy to handle a group of 15 people and we did change 2-3 orders twice because of personal preference so that part is on us. But seeing the amount of attention this place is getting, im assuming that they would know how to handle a large group. The waitress had a lot of attitude and the orders kept getting messed up. Half of my group’s orders were wrong and the other half was just poorly made. The lahmacun is really not their best, i recommend that you try a real lahmacun from a turkish place. They didn’t cook the lamb well it was pink inside. One of my people ordered a type of kebab on a platter WİTHOUT rice and instead with salad and hummus and the waitress said ok but instead brought a platter with rice and no salad on sight. The chicken tikka wrap, which is what i got, tasted only like chicken and nothing else their seasoning wasn’t the best. This is not to hate on them, instead it’s for them to realize their part of the problem and to hopefully fix it so other customers don’t experience the same issues as us. I realize my groups’s issue, we’re not the easiest to deal with but they should know how to make better food and especially know how to work well under pressure. In this industry you MUST have patience and respect for the customer no matter how wrong they are. You’re not a teenager working at mcdonalds you’re a waitress in a popular restaurant. You have to work on your attitude. Thank you for the experience anyways. Oh ps, the restrooms were really clean and the soap smelled nice. The food sucks tho. ANOTHER THING. The prices are wayyyy to high for the food that we got. $20/22 for a really small chicken wrap is really ugly of them to...

Read moreUnfortunately, our son spent almost 5 weeks in the ICU fighting for his life. We were exhausted and stressed.
We planned to join 2 family members for lunch in a restaurant in the same center but they were not open.
What a stroke of luck! We decided to go to USTA KABABAGY instead. We were greeted by Zena. We were unfamiliar with the cuisine and she graciously described the entries and helped us choose items for a late lunch.
As she helped us, we shared that after weeks in the ICU we were celebrated that our son was finally alert and improving.
Zena brought us so much joy that day. We were treated with such kindness and care. The entries we choose were delicious! We tried Iranian and Moroccan tea which was served in beautiful teapots with special cups on a beautiful serving tray.
The lentil soup, various dips, freshly made Iranian bread, chicken Tikka and mixed plate of kabobs were wonderful.
A month had passed since our first visit and our son was now at home recuperating. We had to make a trip into Round Rock and decided we had to stop by to see Zena again. She remembered us and was so happy to see us and we of course were happy to see her. She had joined us and praying for our son and said she would continue praying for him. She was delighted to meet him and see how well he was doing.
Once again we ordered about the same thing as we did on our first visit and of course it was absolutely wonderful.
While all of the food was amazing, My favorite item was our dessert which was baklava using honey and pistachios. By far and away the best baklava I have ever had.
The restaurant is beautiful and clean. All the people were kind. I highly recommend you give this...
