Rice King Express — Restaurant in Roy

I have had take out from here many times over the years without issues. Tonight, we wanted take out to not have to deal with the valentines crowds. I placed an online order like I have done every other time. I waited to leave until it was closer to the expected time they gave me for it to be ready. I let the lady at the counter know I had an online order and gave her the phone number. She tried to locate the receipt in the disorganized row of receipts. After a few minutes, she said she couldn't find it. I showed her the order number on my confirmation text, but still no luck on finding the receipt, and I guess there is no way to pull it electronically. She asked what I ordered, I told her, and showed her what I ordered. She rang me up and I paid for the order. One hour later, they called out most of my order but not what I ordered. No one else moved to get the order, so I made my way up, and they tried to hand it to me, and I told them I ordered General Chicken and not ORANGE Chicken. I again showed what I ordered. The lady apologized and went to get food changed out. She came back minutes later and handed me the food. I went home unpacked the food. Low and behold they gave me the ORANGE Chicken I didn't order instead of fixing their mess up. I won't be back anytime soon. Good thing there are another ten Chinese restaurants in Roy to...

I absolutely love this place! Great food! But, I was disappointed today. I asked for the $5.95 combo meal and I wanted to get mushroom chicken, WITHOUT the chicken because I am 7 months pregnant and didn't want the chicken. So, basically just vegetables without chicken... they wanted to charge $3 EXTRA to do it without chicken. So, I just took the mushroom chkn as it was because I was not about to pay $3 extra for them taking chkn out. That's absurd. I got home and I am currently eating the mushroom chkn and guess what? No chicken was in the mushroom chkn. I am not complaining because this is how I asked for it in the beginning but, I felt like they were trying to be stingy with me.. I feel like they should be ashamed because they were trying to basically take a 7 month pregnant girls money. That was not good customer service. This place is absolutely the worst. They have horrible customer service and equally as horrible food. I placed my order over the phone with a woman who had a heavy accent. I made sure to ask her to repeat my order to make sure they had it right. When I got my food, they gave me the wrong plates. I understand sometimes it can get busy on a Friday night so I wasn't too upset. When I called to tell them they made a mistake, I could hear the woman who took my order shouting in the background saying that I was wrong. I ordered one thing and not the other. Instead of trying to rectify the situation they blamed me and said I told them thats what I wanted. Long story short, they will never get my business again. And maybe next time have someone who can speak clearly and hear clearly answer the phone and not some crazed old lunatic of woman.
