Exceptional green chile cream sauce - wow! Sadly they will not give you WiFi password/accessšŸ˜”. Crispy rellenos with excellently spiced ground beef on top. Red chile rich but not too much, good spice. Migas with sausage usually very fluffy and well cooked. Beans very tasty, as is the posole (when available). Chicken fried steak with green chile cream sauce, fried eggs, hash browns, fluffy soft biscuits and an extra side of GC cream sauce is outstanding! Breakfast potatoes (fried cubes) are out of this world when dipped in extra green chile cream sauce. Cinnamon roll with "pork candy" as well as Red chile pecan pie are very very good, especially warmed up... The red chile kicks in with a soft and slow burn on the finish. Green chile peach pie a little heavy on the filling thickener (cornstarch?) and could use a little more heat (spice). Great Bloody Mary. Salty dog had a nice spiced rim, but the grapefruit (reads fresh squeezed on menu but is not) is just OK. Puff pastry filled with pork and green chile cream sauce, and the red enchiladas were also only just OK, would skip next time. As with many places, some key items on the menu are excellent and signature, but others not as well done.

The wait staff was friendly and polite. The food was ok, not the best in town at all! I would recommend going somewhere else on the food alone but forget about substituting anything without paying near double the price. The queso chihuahua was $12 and they said it came with tortillas but then they charge you for each side of tortillas, you would think that when they say it comes with something (that you need in order to eat it it would be included in the price). But they also want to charge $8.5 to substitute pork for what looked like 4oz of stake, but on other items on the menu it’s a $3.5 upgrade. Then they have a flavorf lemonade for $3-$4 but for a virgin mojito they charge $8. If you go there be careful if you can’t eat pork because they will charge you like a 3 star Michelin star restaurant. The waitress even said she didn’t think it was right to do that. I think the the owner/manager need to learn how to properly charge for a substitute/upgrade because they already have the price of a meat in the original cost and the upgrade should reflect that. Don’t waste your time and money going here.

Yes! I’m glad I tried this place! I’ve lived in Ruidoso for a few years now and never gave it a try because someone said the owner was racist. I decided to form my own opinion and glad I did! The food is really good and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Our waiter was also super friendly and courteous and attentive. This will be a restaurant my family and I will frequent. The Green Enchiladas were tasty and cheesy, and my husband enjoyed the Migas. The only thing I didn’t like were the potatoes that came with breakfast, I found them bland. This place also has live music on the weekends, you’d have to follow them on Instagram to find out what dates. They have a selection of beers, cocktails, and wines. Oh and they have pitchers of mimosas! Stop by and give it a try!

Most disappointing. Tuesday morning 8:30am (and no other customers)? And none showed up for the next 45 minutes. That should've been a Red Flag that something was wrong and to stay away. From appearances, Tina's looks nice. Food is ok. Not great for sure. The worst part? Their famous Breakfast Burrito included a "surprise" of a metal bolt about 5/8 of an inch long and 1/4 inch thick. Yes. A "bolt" with threads and all. Found it inside of their "famous breakfast burrito". Not good. While I realize "stuff happens", it was the response (or complete lack thereof) from the Owner/Manager who was on site. During the meal, we were asked "how're things"? I dropped the loud clanking metal bolt onto the glass plate. Not rudely but to show how ODD this was. Thunk! They said "Oh gosh", picked it up and walked away. No apology. No effort to make us feel better. It was like it never even happened. No offer to do anything. They literally, simply walked away. I NEVER look for a "free meal", didn't ask for one and I have owned/run many businesses. I would have NEVER responded in the way Tina's owner did. My prediction for Tina's? They will not remain in business with this kind of attitude or poor treatment of customers. They seem to be clueless (or could care less about) how effective a deeply felt apology can be for a customer. Something so simple was clearly not offered. I/we will not return. In retrospect, I should've taken a pic of the bolt and posted here. Hindsight is always 20/20. Would sure welcome a response/explanation to this review from the Owner.

UPDATE- After sharing my experience at Tina's, a friend helped me narrow down the "how the bolt got in the food". His thought was from the vent-a-hood (probably a loose bolt that rattled its way out). No possible idea of any other way it happened. I'm open to other thoughts (and even to some communication...

Horrible Food and Service! My family and I were In town for spring break and was excited to try Tina’s after reading all of the positive reviews, unfortunately we were all so disappointed. We waited 30 minutes to seat our party of 9 which was understandable, however it took over 50 minutes for us to receive our breakfast! The food looked awful, I ordered a Veggie Omelette and the waitress brought it to me BROWN, it was so overdone and I was given a total of 7 little potatoes! I cannot believe the waitress would bring a plate out that looked so bad. (I had to saturate it in red chili because I did not want to wait another 50 minutes) The sausage looked and tasted like ground potted meat with chili. One of my family members ordered nachos and they were brought out after the rest of us were done with our meal, the waitress told her they ā€œran out of chips and had to make moreā€ hello, she should have been offered something else. Waiting over 1 hour for nachos was just insane. My husband ordered over medium eggs and the were beyond over hard. The prices are ridiculous for what we got. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but not one of our 9 plates were satisfying. The waitress did not even ask if everything was ok. There was a table of six that was seated 5 minutes before us and they had time to eat and leave before we even received our food. I don’t like to leave reviews that are negative but this was such a disappointment I...

Went to check out this place since Yelp had it in its top 10 restaurants in Ruidoso. First time visitor to the restaurant. party of 3 Labor Day weekend, Sunday around noon to be specific. The restaurant was busy, the wait time was about 20 to 25 minutes,we decided to wait, since it wasn't too long of a wait, We ended up getting sat outside, no biggie, we did not mind since the day was beautiful and the area was shaded, we sat at our table for 20+ minutes without being acknowledged once, There was a waiter and a waitress taking care of the tables around us, neither one of them looked at us once or told us they would be right with us or offered to get us some water NOTHING AT ALL, around the 20 minute mark my friends and I decided to walk out, Who knows how much longer we would have sat there without being assisted, the sad part is we don't know if it was a breakdown in customer service or neither one of the staff members wanted to take care of the table with 3 grown men that are all brown, we took off and found Grill Caliente down the street, not the type of food we wanted at the moment but it ended up being delicious and the service was on point and we didnt have to wait, I'm definitely planning ongoing back to Ruidoso soon but NOT to Tina's.EVER. If I could I'd give it zero...
