If only I could give this a zero star . You pull up to this cute quiet looking building and your thinking woe this would be a great place to try out some local food . You step into the building and you see these really nice Mexican people going to take your order of coarse I order 3 tacos with just meet and cheese I get my food and it has tomatoes on it and enough cheese just to say it is there. The price of the food there is not worth the actual food $35 just for 3 tacos a beer a soda and 4 green chilies my boyfriend then goes up and asks them to take off the tomatoes and just have a little more cheese and they literally give him a plate with a sprinkle of cheese on it.(we have been nothing but nice so far) so of coarse we are like whaaaat... That's not cool . Then we start to look around commenting on the cool decor then I see it. Nothing but chip crumbles, napkins, straws just a bunch of trash and ALL of the tables around us were dirty. But what were the employees doing ... They must of been busy right?? No. We were the ONLY people there and the employees were sitting down talking to each other and on their cell phones. It was ridiculous. And as we exited we didnt get a thank you or please come back or nothing I will definitely be telling all of my friends to never go here. The only thing that I found good about the place was at least the...
Read moreYou order at the counter and the set up to do this is a mess. Servers with trays of food constantly having to maneuver around guests in line. We waited about 10 mins to order. The girls taking the order was friendly. However, we were all hungry so we ordered chips and queso and asked it come out as soon as possible. It is, after all, listed under appetizers. We waited about 20 more mins for food. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, but several dishes were room temp even a bit cold. The chips and queso came out with the rest of the food. I am not sure what took so long as it was clear our food had been sitting a few minutes. We sat outside and it was pleasant. The restuarant is cramped inside and this was better. We did notice a few troubling things- such as employees not following proper hand washing rules and bowls of cat food on the patio where guests are dining. All in all, I would suggest to save your $ and go to a fast food joint. The quality of food will be the same or better. Plus, it will be much cheaper and you won't wait as long. We saw another place we wish we tried...
Read moreIt's a medium size restaurant packed with seats. They also have outside tables, but they are not properly protected from the rain, so when the rain started everyone had to go inside. But inside there's no room for any maneuver. You enter and stand for long in the line to make an order in a narrow hallway and on the way of people getting cutlery, sauces and drinks refills. Then you order at the register. Prices are above average for a full restraunt, but this is more a canteen styled place. Then you sit on a table with short seats. Then you wait for long. Then you hear you name and you head to the register to get your food. And all this in a poorly conditioned space. Then you eat your fried New Mexico green chilies, and they taste not like New Mexico green chilies at all, but rather Poblano peppers, and very stringy. I tried this dish in other restaurants and it was much better. Not to mention that it was almost the only food for vegetarians. [UPDATE]And the tone in which the venue responds to this review 🤦♂️And it wasn't only my opinion on their fried...
