I have eaten at two other Primo's locations (one of them a few times), and have always had a great experience. Got food from this one last night, because it's the one that Grub Hub would deliver to me from. It was a real disappointment.
My wife had the "Nellie". She has never had Primo's before, and now wonders what's wrong with me for being so excited about it. Her sandwich had very little meat -- there was actually more cheese in her sandwich than roast pork. NOT exaggerating! By cutting the roll in half, peeling off most of the cheese, she could just barely get an edible (half) hoagie.
I had the Corned Beef Schwartzie, which I've had at least twice before at the Swedesboro location. Mine had plenty of meat, but all to one side of the roll, one slice of Swiss, and the cole slaw seemed liked it been scooped in the center of the sandwich and folded, not spread out at all. I basically had to pull the sandwich completely apart and remake it myself.
Finally, GrubHub shenanigans (which aren't the restaurant's fault). Primo's Runnemede is about 5 miles away. I watched on the tracker while they drove away from me up in to Cherry Hill and Moorestown, made at least two other deliveries, then 15+ miles back to me. Food received 1h 15 minutes after ordering, 55 mins after the driver left the store. Glad it wasn't anything we would have expected to be "hot".

Ordered a deluxe hoagie tray on Wednesday before the game via phone and came in around 3:30 Sunday to pick it up. The young girl behind the counter (who was EXTREMELY NICE and showed genuine concern and why there's one star, not zero) couldn't find the tray for like 5 minutes so we started to worry. Finally, a woman who I'm assuming was the manager basically said we don't have the tray but we can cut up 8 rolls or make 8 hoagies (still not clear) or offer a complete refund. Listen, sometimes stuff happens, but the problem is when we told her this really isn't a good thing because we have 20 people coming over and it's right before game time and we'd like a new tray, she said without any concern whatsoever, "nothing I can do, I have a line out the door." So basically, it was "screw you, it's your problem". Finally, the counter girl, who I mentioned before, actually located the tray, thankfully, and she showed genuine remorse, unlike the manager. I've come to this location for years, and I get it, nobody's going to stop ordering Primo because of this review, but it really was a ridiculous way to treat a customer with a big order. I am leaving this review because it has been a LONG time since I’ve had such great customer service! I came into Primos last week, tired, hungry, and like most of us just trying to get through my work week. I was waited on by a charming, professional, beautiful soul who just made my absolute day! She waited on me AND accommodated my picky preferences with a smile. The absolute BEST sandwich I’ve had in a long time. She not only made my experience at primos a positive one she made my whole day. Energetic, so much personality, and absolutely hilarious. Just so relatable! Service was amazing and food was delicious. I will definitely be back! And just wanted to take this opportunity to give a HUGE shout out to that beautiful soul of an employee, Nicole! She’s awesome!
