I do not understand how this place has so many good reviews. Are your taste buds okay, folks? Please get them checked. The food was atrocious. The wait to get our food was very long. We came here specifically for pork tamales, the menu said they had them. What was delivered to our table was not a tamale in the least. Who uses white flour for a tamale? It was horribly mushy and the consistency of mashed potatoes. Next- there's bright red, extra dry CHICKEN in the tamale. And some flakes of super dry pork on top of the tamale. What??? That is NOT a tamale. None of it was palatable. Sent it back. Our waiter insisted on bringing out carnitas to try instead. Carnitas are supposed to be very moist. You want your carnitas to have a bold flavor and very juicy. These were so dry the pork was crispy and hard in places. Bland as could be. The "seafood" chimichanga was 99% imitation crab meat and three pieces of tiny shrimp. Plopped on top of refried beans. The tortilla was a combination of rock hard and soggy. Next is the atmosphere. We came here a couple of days before Easter. There were still shamrocks and St. Patty's day decorations all over. A giant pull tab room. Pool tables. Which is cool I guess but definitely not your traditional Mexican restaurant atmosphere. The booth chairs are upholstered in cowboy themed fabric. Just what a Mexican restaurant needs, some colonizers adorning their seating. So weird. Food- 0/5 Atmosphere 0/5 Waitstaff 5/5 very friendly, we made sure to leave a nice tip despite the terrible food and experience. We will not be...

The place was clean, decorated nicely, and played Mexican music throughout the restaurant. There's more disappointing than going to a mexican restaurant and its silent and the servers seem bored. This place is NOT like those places.
We were greeted promptly with very friendly welcoming service. The margaritas are delicious and well worth the price. I was really happy to see blended margarita pitchers as an option.
But above all, I was incredibly happy how easy is was to eat vegan here with MANY vegetarian options that you can simply ask for no cheese or cream to make them vegan. Most Mexican places I have been too only have the option for burritos or fajitas to be made vegan upon request. But Fiesta Cancun has burritos, enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, chimichangas and more that can all very easily be made vegan.
I give a lot of credit to this place for having such a variety of veggie options way out in Rush City. I will definitely be coming back as my "go to" spot for Mexican food and great service moving forward.

Read moreMy husband and I chose this restaurant because of it's higher than 4 star rating. This place doesn't deserve that rating. The beef didn't take like beef and wasn't seasoned. The Spanish rice had no flavor and instead of being a traditional Spanish rice, it had literally frozen mixed vegetables in it. The reason I give this a 2 star rating is that their mole was flavorful as was their tamale. My husband's steak street tacos tasted as though the meat was freezer burnt. The single basket of chips that we received at the beginning of our experience were over cooked from being under the warmer too long and had a burnt flavor.
Our server was genuine. Kind and helpful. The atmosphere however was awkward as there was no music and the noise from the cooler and blenders were very apparent.
I would not recommend...
