I visited Rush City Bakery for the 1st time and unfortunately it was very small, dirty, not well lit and sadly everyone who worked there seemed very unhappy to be there. I observed a woman in her early 20’s approach a lady behind the counter inquiring the price of a dozen cupcakes and the response from the cashier was an eye roll and a shoulder shrug. This was very surprising considering this woman was over the age of 50. The woman in her 20’s looked frustrated and left. As you enter, there's a hint of fresh bakery in the air and the donuts are delicious. You can sit and eat there. Very relaxed atmosphere. There are so many choices, it's hard to decide what to buy. It's very hard to walk out of the bakery without eating whatever you buy. It happens to me. They always have fresh bakery goods in their display case.
