New Review of New Stacy Location! ***I initially emailed the business TWICE with zero response so I see it fit to leave a public review regarding my experience. When I went to the new location - it was such a bad experience. The bartenders were doing nothing but struggling/having a difficult time keeping their frustrations to themselves. I could hear them complaining about their issues to customers and coworkers. It wasn’t a relaxing experience. It took away from my time with my friend and my work. Their stress was definitely felt throughout the bar and it was quite unprofessional to say the least. Another thing - I had asked to do the chicken burrito of which I requested a minor modification. I asked to do the Jerk Chicken that you put on the Jerk tacos instead of the spicy chicken that you put on the burrito. I was told “The kitchen said no.” And “restaurants don’t do modifications anymore.” Well that is a lie because every restaurant that I have been to (especially recently) has absolutely ZERO problem modifying something so small such as my request. I just wanted to swap it for something of equal value that was on the menu. Why is that such a hard task? It’s okay to say “no” but throwing a lie in there as well as a massive attitude it most definitely made me loose my appetite. I ended up not eating and having to make something at home which was sadly unfortunate because I was looking to enjoy dinner and trying a burrito at your establishment. I am very unimpressed and I am not super eager to go back. In fact, I haven’t been back since. OLD REVIEW Seriously delicious. I clearly have an obsession with the fish tacos! Fun beers on tap and great cocktails as well! Wonderful flavors and friendly service (except for one occasion but not sure that bartender works there anymore). Thanks for a great dining option in the North Branch area!

We showed up at this restaurant expecting the former restaurant/dive bar that it had previously been (used to live in the area and it’s been years since we have been to Stacy). Upon arrival, we saw that it was a new restaurant and decided to roll with it. My husband and I both ordered burgers. I ordered the sriracha habanero burger. I was expecting to get heartburn from this thing; however, there was literally no spice at all. Borderline flavorless. The patty itself was good, but their choice to use little chopped up cherry tomatoes ends up just being a huge mess. I get that they are going for a certain vibe here, but you have to take some functionality/practicality into the mix too. We had sat at the bar and no one asked if if we wanted a 2nd drink. We also had to wait an uncomfortably long time for our check—sitting there awkwardly as staff was continuously in front of us. Overall, food was okay. Vibe was not right for Stacy, MN. Not sorry that I tried it but I don’t think I’ll be making a point to go back.

Clint and I ate at The Fort the other day and it was so good. This is an eclectic restaurant that started as a food truck and still has a true food truck attached to it. It seems like an unlikely spot for a restaurant and yet it is working well. The ambiance is a bit darker than I would like, but this time we sat on a high top by the window and it was great. They have a great selection of tacos and burgers; as well as appetizers and craft cocktails and beers. The house merlot is really good and it is relatively inexpensive. I loved the Korean Beef Tacos that I had and Clint had a build-your-own burger that included lots of BACON and bacon jam...yum! Both times that we have been here the service has been great and we loved meeting the owner as well. Fun to have a place like this so close to home and we will definitely be back.

We met friends for dinner last night, and it was an unbelievable experience. Unbelievable because I can't believe how bad it was! Let me back up a bit... The first time that we went there, it was a few weeks after they had opened. It was a weeknight, but it was packed, and the noise level was extremely loud. It was hard to even communicate with our dinner partners. The food was good, as was the service, but it was hard to enjoy everything due to the acoustics. We had not been back until last night, and we were happy to walk into an almost empty dining room where our friends were waiting for us. However, the ambiance didn't last long because in walked a group of 4 that sounded like hyenas when they laughed! They spoke to each other at the highest decibels, which led to the other guests who came in having to raise their voices to be heard. Our ears were seriously ringing by the end of the meal! And, speaking of the meal, I ordered the veggie burrito with side salad. When it arrived, I cut into it right away, as it sounded so good. It was cold! Horribly cold. I ate the salad, which was good, and I told the waitress about the burrito. She apologized and said she would order a new one. 15 minutes later, it still had not arrived. Everyone else was finished, and I was ready to just get a "to go" box, when it finally arrived. By then, I was only able to eat 1/2 of it, and brought the rest home. The waitress pretty much ignored us, as I'm sure she knew we were not happy. Bottom line...they need to do SOMETHING about the horrible acoustics inside, and to do a better job heating up their frozen food. We will never go back there again, and would never...

These people should not be in business. I live quite a ways away and stopped in there today with an elderly relative. They kept my credit card and when I called there to inquire about it, and ask how I was going to get it back, their employee hung up on me.

At that point I was livid because I live quite a distance away. I called back again and asked for the manager on duty which is the owner Shannon. She at first told me they were closed Sundays but she would come out of her way to meet me to get my card. Keep in mind I live at least 2 hours round trip if not more to get this card. She then told me that she was going to bring it to my house but then she back pedaled right away and said she decided she would not do that. So when I called back 30 minutes later to give her a time to meet me at the restaurant, she wouldn't come to the phone. I left her a message to call me. Her husband calls me and I put him on speaker phone and he starts screaming at my husband and I saying that we're never welcome there again. Big news for them. You guys have terrible food and terrible service and you're not going to be in business very long...
