Lost River Creamery — Restaurant in Russellville

First of all, the coffee is tasty. I have often lamented not having a place to get coffee in Russellville. Most people I know still live in Bowling Green so they have their selection, and finally this place has filled the hole Russellville was missing. I've tried several different things off the menu, and, consistently it's better than having Starbucks chain coffee from Bowling Green. For instance, I've never had a drink and discovered all the flavor at the bottom of the cup.

Once, I ordered something and they were concerned with whether not I would like it because they were out of their regular syrup and let me know if I tasted it and it wasn't good, they would remake something for me. Thus, on a second point, they have good service.

They recently added sandwiches to the menu so sometimes I pop in for breakfast. I have only tried two of them, but I have not been disappointed in either of those either. There isn't much of a wait for them. This morning I guess they felt it was taking a little long and came out to let me know what was up. No big deal--I'll wait for something that tastes good and frankly I've still waited long sitting in a drive thru. I'm happy to swing through here to have something decent before I go to work at the library. This is a cool place. Good vibe, good music and friendly service, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Normally I like coffee hot, but after reading a review about frozen white chocolate coffee, I decided to give it a whirl. At the counter, they called it a white mocha frappe when I asked about it. By either name, it is the best drink I've had anywhere that mixes coffee with ice cream. I love both coffee and ice cream and have been searching for a way to combine what I like about both of them. This is hands-down, my favorite, and to me the best coffee shop in 100 mile radius. Their coffee is always delicious and I have tried quite a few other places, but none of them are as good as lost River creamery! The staff is also the best group of women. They are always so nice and engaging. They also offer muffins and bagels. And so many different flavors that you can try of coffee or lattes.
