Absolutely gone straight downhill after Covid. I was a consistent customer for 8 years. The door is filthy/ it’s always filthy. There is no wait service anymore and tips are obviously included in the insanely high prices for the buffet now. Manager dude is not warm. Cashier seems to be only employee on floor, She used to be my favorite but now has to tell ppl three buffets and three drinks are $48.95 at 3:20 pm on a Thursday. Here’s the thing I worked for five years in a high quality Chinese restaurant. There are things that aren’t done. No reheating, no taking from the buffet for menu orders, no mixing dried up anything with fresh food. Old dried up food is tossed out not mixed in with a little bit of fresher food. Sunday buffet which is 70 for three buffets and three drinks is typically enhanced with crab legs and salmon/. No they went cheaper. It’s the same damn dried up boring stuff you can get at lunch on a weekday. You know how much our Sunday buffet including a drink was back then (circa 1990’s) 8.95 including a drink and the business thrived for 30 years. Weekday buffets were 4.95 and went of the 5.95 at 5 pm. Apparently dinner starts at 3:20 at China Buffet. The reason this bothers me so is bc I supported this small business for so long, tipped well and it just seems like they just don’t care anymore about anything. It’s very sad that I had to say “no thanks it’s not worth it,” and “hit that door with some Windex.” When I worked at the Chinese restaurant, the first thing we did was check exterior and interior for cleanliness. It’s the first thing ppl see. Very disappointing and I am boycotting the hell out...

My husband most likely has food poisoning from this place (we are pretty positive of this because he has been off of work all week and not around anybody, so no one to get sick from and this is the only thing he has eaten that the rest of us have not and is the only person in the house that is sick)! He ate there for lunch yesterday and went to bed last night with a terrible headache ( he said it is different from any headache that he has ever had)! Then he woke up around midnight sick and has been sick ever since! He said that the food wasn’t that good, he had to pay when he first went in & had to seat himself, get his own drink & after reading these reviews, it sounds like common practice! I haven’t eaten here in years b/c the last time we ate there, the food wasn’t that good, for the price & the lady stood by us and watched us eat with her arms crossed, leaned up against the wall! We will never go back to this place! I also just called to politely let them know and told them maybe they should check into see if something had gone bad & the guy literally hung up on me! 😡DO...

I love the China Buffet here in Russellville! The owners are always super nice & they never fail to greet their customers with a smile! The entire restaurant is always spotless inside & out. If something on the buffet is running low they're on top of it, the food is always hot & freshly made as needed. Their deserts are unique, very pretty & super yummy! I will say this though, for those of you that prefer more authentic Chinese cuisine, this restaurant probably isn't best suited for you. Their food, while delicious, is quite 'americanized', which I personally prefer, however not everyone feels that way. The one & only small complaint I have is the lack of sea food. They only serve shrimp & imitation crab meat dishes, there's no fish or anything like that. Overall, I love this place & will continue to be a...

This restaurant has came a long ways from when they first opened. Back in 2005-2007 they had my Mexican brothers and sisters doing all the cooking so so everything was spicy 🔥🥵 as hell and did not taste like true Chinese food. But today 2022 they must have a new chef because the food is always amazing. It is extremely expensive if you get a to go plate because they weight the plate for pricing. I spent $18.00 on 1 to go plate which was insane for the price. You are better off buying the Quarts or pint size bowls. To buy 3 meat trays, 1 large bowl of fried rice will cost you about $62.00. It's very pricey but well worth it.

Food was always short. Food was not cooked all the way. The guy that took my money was very rude and through my change at me. Most of the food was not cooked or over cooked. The other employees don't help you find anything. Lots of negatives. Not worth the 20 bucks. Do not go here!

Sub-par Chinese buffet. For the price it's not bad. Food quality was decent. Tables where a little sticky. I wasn't there during a busy time so maybe the food is better when they are busier. 3 stars over all
